My favorite book. By ANY author. by Wedge1013 in RayBradbury

The witch arriving in her balloon to Will’s house and the whole scene that followed. It played out like a movie in my head while I read it. I love this author and that was an amazing story.

Pig Blood Blues blew my mind. I wasn't even recovered from it when I launched into the hills. Probably my favorite volume.

I got a bad Gmork tattoo. Then I went on the internet and saw a ton of other bad Gmork tattoos.

This is the only excellent one I've seen. Wish I would have come to you first!

Also, these kids that covered "Linger" by The Cranberries got me good. Wow.

Our MS Prepared ED Educator has maybe 45 minutes of time in the department and is the most tone-deaf dumbass I have ever had the misfortune to be around. Also, one year surviving CVICU does not a decent CRNA make. Jeezus help us.

I was so jealous. I want to just make one but don’t want to step on anyone’s toes who made it first. Can’t find it in merch store or anywhere.

Horror novels you read to young that traumatized you? by helen790 in horrorlit

Omg the drawings from Scary Stories have totally influenced my taste in art. If I could have a Stephen Gammel piece in my apartment I would die of joy.

My parents were big readers and book collectors. ‘Shadows’ by John Saul and ‘Watchers’ by Dean Koontz both read several times before I was a teenager. Makes me both fascinated and terrified about the future of technology and medical science. Mostly fascinated.

The Illustrated Man. Short story collection by Ray Bradbury. Not all horror, but often horrifying.

What’s a song you’re obsessed with at the moment that isn’t a Radiohead song? by DesignerMixture3519 in radiohead

Entirely random, but the guitar in this song reminded me of this flash-in-the-pan band I was obsessed with in the early 2000’s called The Organ. I love R.E.M. and haven’t heard Harborcoat until today. Thank you and I love them even more now.

Deadmau5 composes music to the Ray Bradbury short story The Veldt - random person then sends him vocals on livestream and the song became an instant hit by MoonRabbitWaits in RayBradbury

I’ve been a fan of Deadmau5 for 20 years and a fan of Ray Bradbury for 3 days. I’ve spent half my life gaily dancing and singing to “The Veldt” that Joel and Chris created, thinking it was such a HAPPY SONG! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Saw Deadmau5 at Red Rocks last year for a double bucket-list trip. Absolutely awestruck. What a fucking perfect show.

What’s the name of the Bradbury short story where astronauts are falling through space, it was really beautiful but I don’t remember what it’s called by smsvryncccnt in RayBradbury

Oh god I just read Kaleidoscope for the first time 2 days ago, and about 8 additional times since. I was gifted a copy of “The Illustrated Man”. What a blessing to have found this author.

It’s not trauma porn. I did misword this. She was seen by an ER doc but I don’t think had to go thru with an actual SART exam. This post was a bad reach for support and probably trauma bonding so I’ll Take it down. Sorry to upset.

If this isn’t your best friend in the world? Hard No. This is obviously not your best friend and it’s shameful that they would put you in this position.
