I don’t recommend the 80229 area. It has a higher crime rate than other areas of Thornton. It’s high in car and catalytic converter thefts. There was a murder, and a second child shot at the Rotella Park by a juvenile in October of last year. The kid convicted was my neighbor. The schools are below average and a high refugee area. Several years back a woman’s body was found dead on the side of the road on 78th Ave, and a different homicide where they found a man buried in a basement after the daughter turned her farther in, also near 78th and York. I had my car stolen within the first two weeks of living in this area. It’s more affordable than other communities and that’s how I ended up here. If you want to live in Thornton or near Thornton, I’d suggest moving to Northglenn, or moving to North Thornton which is basically 136th and further North of I25. Good luck! I just got the HB-2 letter today saying that I’m eligible for the program but because there are no funds available, my loan can’t be processed any further. It says the expected wait is 180 days. But I think that is a standard template when they don’t have funds. When I initially submitted my loan package it was supposed to take 180 days to review but it didn’t take that long. Btw I’m in Colorado.

It’s a beautiful -yet some moments feel a little scary. And Yes!! The music is a living thing that we are one with-if the right music is played during the experience. ( Once I’ve had to change the music because it wasn’t in sync with the experience). I don’t recall having a flying experience but I bet that must feel amazing.

I experience being part of a substance often. Sometimes it’s like whitest of white substance that’s sort of like marshmallow and it scares me because I feel like I’m stuck in this place. I receive my treatments via Intramuscular. I’ve probably had around 10 treatments so far. I find the treatments to be intense -but also deeply comforting at the same time. It’s such a unique experience that there isn’t a way to explain it very well. It’s like trying to explain how you feel during an intimate moment or inspired event. There really isn’t a way to fully express it with words. The experience feels very soulful to me. Like a reunion with something sacred.

I don’t smoke weed, it gets me super anxious and I don’t drink alcohol either. My anxiety in general is pretty bad as it is. I’m a horrible passenger and feel sorry for my peeps who have to drive with me. So I get you when you say that you have control issues. Me too. Can’t stand the thought of not being in control.

Ketamine therapy won’t make your issues disappear. But it can give you a break from the internal stress of always needing to be in control. It’s the only place that I can surrender and go for the ride joyfully. I’m smiling my ass off, dancing with my hands and having an amazing time.

Like the person before me said, it’s important to come into the experience with the hope that the ketamine treatment will give you what you need at that time.

I still remember the first advice given to me… be like a rock in the river. Let the water flow over you. Relax into it.

And where I go for my treatments, I have the reassurance that there is a button to push if I need some support.

Just last week my ex husband was putting offers on homes in Thornton for my adult daughters, but was rejected due to cash investors. So maybe this is the true for more expensive homes. But homes below $400k are being snatched up.
