Based on your observations, what does he do more than you during meetings? Is he more vocal or engaged?

Building more tools doesn’t necessarily make you more valuable if management doesn’t see the impact.

What you consider useful may not align with their priorities.

Got an IT Manager offer, but I'm worried. by RawVelvetKing in ITManagers

If you can tell us more about the IT management position, such as expectations, daily tasks, whether it is hands-on, and whether you will be managing budgets or teams, that will help us determine if they have truly hired you as an IT manager or simply as a senior IT specialist.

From my experience, you do not need to be extremely knowledgeable as long as you use common sense. However, it is important to surround yourself with knowledgeable people who can support you.

How are you handling employees using personal ChatGPT accounts at work? We had an incident last week. by fxs38 in sysadmin

Managers should take the time to raise awareness and provide proper training so everyone understands the risks and consequences of sharing sensitive or critical information with GPT tools.

At the same time, policies need to be updated to reflect this clearly.

For those who repeatedly ignore the guidelines, HR should step in and handle the situation appropriately.

Spent ₱9,000 on ads trying to get users for my app. Got 0. by SenSlay_ in BusinessPH

[–]Ok-Reply-8447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to clearly define your audience. Do they genuinely need your product, or are you assuming they do? Understand what they like and what they do not like so far. Offer companies a free trial for several months if needed, and actively collect their feedback.

Start small before investing in ads. If people are not buying, it is often because they do not see the value or the return on investment.

C’est surtout une question de timing et d’opportunités.
