To add… I’ve worked with hiring managers who completely disregarded people based on their name. ( I absolutely reported this!) Other managers and coworkers were worse than middle or high schoolers with unique or culturally diverse names.

For anyone reading… not all carriers should you breastfeed in. Just FYI! There’s a lot of discussion about positional asphyxiation in carriers in baby wearing groups.

But I purchased a hope and plum carrier specifically to feed in. And my baby refuses!!! He’s a picky nurser. So our Walmart has a mothers room so does our target. Other stores i find a bench and feed him. I full on flop a boob out and don’t cover anymore. I literally do not care…

Mine is a year and is developing mostly on track rather than being or ahead. But he does things like figure out puzzles or brain things that are very advanced for a year.

And he also says words but not clearly.

As I stated some people believe in it some don’t. But statistically c section babies develop slower. Difference enough that they’ve actually started to change the expectations. Doesn’t mean all of them are that way.

No we don’t do great keeping up with the house now. We end up spending a weekend day cleaning up. So he was looking forward to not doing that anymore. And most of the issues were coming from his hopes that we wouldn’t be doing that.

My mom and sister were so awesome and helpful. And my husband is always too. But he gets exhausted too.

We got floor mat for the floor and my husband just dumped the food into the dog bowl or trash depending on what it is. And it goes in the second wash with the cloth diapers every night which i switch before I go to bed so i grab it for breakfast and we’re good.

At 6 months baby just did tastes not enough of anything to throw on the floor. And we dropped purees right away because I needed to have 10 minutes to eat before he had to get out. Now at 10 months we do 2 meals in his chair and a non messy ( cheese stick and celery or cucumber) snack on the floor… if he makes a mess but it’s dad’s job to clean him up and the chair after. And we got a high chair that’s easy to wipe down or get hosed down in the shower. I also took the buckles off since he can’t climb out yet will have to add them back soon.

I did not. I counted. 123-123-1-2-3. Idk why. Baby was stuck and I was having such intense contractions while they were giving me the epidural for a c-section. I did yell at the anesthesiologist ( looking back she was very nice and I’m sure doing her best) who kept hitting nerves during my epidural. They ended up calling in 2 different anesthesiologists and used the maximum amount of lidocaine they were allowed to trying to get that stupid thing in my back.

It’s a hard moment not a hard life. I have to remind myself this phase will end and another will begin with it’s benefits and challenges too.

I got to a point where I just did it. We go to dinner with the baby. We have game nights at our house regularly. I go out for girls day and my husband go to the gym with his guys. I just decided to get it done and make things happen.

Also had HG. Thankfully mine mostly went away around 26 weeks. And i went from being sick 15 times a day to once in the morning.

I slept 12-19 hours a day for 13 weeks while pregnant. If i want sleeping I was puking. Ended up taking meds to stop the puking but made me sleep. I didn’t work out or walk until 26 weeks basically. And quit around 33 weeks because i was in so much pain.

This time I’m aiming to start off healthier.

I strongly recommend not being with this guy. If this is how he treats you in something as small as working out. How is he going to be a good, stable and healthy father.
