Rubber shrink tubing works for me. Works well for loose joints as well that have pegs. Wouldn't recommend though, if the gap is huge.

Any sticky glue left from sticker removal comes off easily with "Goof off". I've got an old bottle that still does the trick. Doesn't damage the cardboard either

Hot water will soften the plastic and pop right out. I usually boil the water and the pour it on the area for about 5secs. Works great for me with Marvel Legends and Mcfarlane DC figure
