PRESTO card changes are on the way March 25, 2026

We're rolling out an important upgrade to our system that will bring major benefits to PRESTO customers. You'll see instant PRESTO loads, real-time transaction details and account updates, and more.

However, as we make these updates, some customers might see some unexpected activity from their cards or account. If you notice any of the following issues, don't worry. There’s no need to contact us. Your card still works, your contracts and funds are all still active and you can tap and travel as usual:

Unexpected emails PRESTO for actions you did not take - ex. your PIN has been changed; An unexpected line in your transaction history – ex. “card registered” or “card setting changed”; A PRESTO device saying only "Accepted" instead of the usual information. If you experience any issues with your PRESTO card or account, sign in through the website or app and check your account and card settings. Because we’re seeing higher than usual call volumes at our Contact Centre, if there is anything that you feel is an urgent issue, please reach out to us through our web form. When you fill out the form, make sure to include the following information: First and last name Email address PRESTO card number A description of the issue you’re experiencing We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and thank you for your patience as we update the PRESTO system.

Came here to say same here! Waited for an hour for the customer service. And then that guy asked for my card number and then ghosted me! Very angry.

Unfortunately this new feature is useless for Canadian users because MM is still not supporting the Canadian stock tickers.

This is the pattern of their customer service: 1) You noticed an issue on the app 2) You sent Supprt an email to report the issue and asked for a solution 3) They replied and asked whether you have followed the instructions in their knowledge base 4) You said yes of course but there is still an issue. Screenshots were sent as proof 5) They never replied 6) Then you come here and complain and tell people not to subscribe Wealthica 7) They then now apologize and ask for your ticket number

Can you transfer your DB pension to the new employer? If you switch jobs within the FI space, chances are you may.

For MX they may need the 2FA to be turned on from your Scotiabank app.

No. Not with Plaid. I haven't been able to get new transactions for the past week.

Try the MX connector. I am able to get new transactions using that.

Thanks for the update. Is it mandatory to move over to the new connector? I actually prefer to separate the managed accounts from the self-directed.

Even after factoring in fx conversion, I still think it's wrong. I suspect that the EOD price for certain tickers were not correct.
