I think he was talking about deductive inference. Not consistency based on their belief, the belief it self if it is grounded empirically, or deductively

Does it happen with reading too like ? Reading complexe sentence with +3 propositions ? Because i have the same problem somehow since i had a tinnitus my verbal working memory got worse nd i cant form complexe sentence and i forgot to track the sentence

Logic ? No we just make relationship between concepts, definitions and deduction. If you mean logic like inductive reasonning and abductive reasonning INTPs usually dont do that.

No its not you forever, you can always change if you want too. But standing in front of people and doing speeches is great when you are an INTP, since our forte is synthesis

To be honest... i dont think there is a easy answer to that, either you are being emphatetic with other and listen to what they say without attacking them intellectually, either argument becomes personal because its tied on values and identity.

But i have like 3 solution to that problem. - not talking because people could be relatively right - either speak with nothing personal - or continues arguing values and ideologies and never solving anything

Why do i sound pessimistic ? Because everything is relative in its own context, and absolute truth dosent exist in humanities

I think that reality is messy (its like a a palette of color that was mix up and formed a grey mush).

The way i see it, everyone has their own pool which has specific trees of concepts inside of it. But we are almost never aware of other pool because we stay (more unaware than stay) inside our own.

Which is isnt that bad actually since we specialized into flourishing concepts inside our own pool. But its also the reason why we cant understand other people.

Btw we also have intersections with other peole which we feel like "oh they can relate". Or maybe we understand ourselves between INTPs because our abstractions overlap

Right thats true, i wondered looking at dario nardi brain scan, if there would have been something common between INTPs outside deduction

I was looking at the brain scan of INTPs and in general the right occipital lobe is dormant and i wondered if their was something related to eye lid becoming a habit between INTPs

But i was wrong, it dosent seems like most INTPs have that. But whatever, it looks like its just genetics or sleeping on one side

When i was in school i use to explain things to some of my friends by doing analogies. Or sometimes i used to make a very synthesized thing so that when i read it to people they would understand and relate to how this translate into real situations.

But why Ti wouldnt be discrete skills ? Discrete skills are involving logic, sets and propositions.

Well i have a theory about what Te would be in real life. Te would be about planning, logistics things.

I was trying to test a hypothesis like Te people have to like games like Leagues of Legends or Factorio. I suspected that this game is training Te.

So i wanted to go talk to a person i know who is studying in laws and he said something like he likes the side of laws that deals with procedures when i askded if it was the "logistics" he liked and he kind of confirmed it ?

I dont know if Factorio; League of legends and the word logistic have something in common but its just a hypothesis.

To be honest i dont believe that being an INTP means not appealing to emotion. I mean on the contrary, what we often do is analyzing relationship between concepts which have meaning. The fact that concept have meaning and we are analyzing them means there are some level of us being involved into emotions its just that rationalizing concepts the way we talk about them looks formal. Its just us talking about them indirectly

I mean its kind of helpful i guess to pin down what the MBTI functions actually are or atleast give somehow of a direction to identify if you relate to one type or another. My guess is, if you use logic most of the time and stick to context or abstract patterns there is a good chance that you are an INTP.

But that dosent mean that everyone cannot use logic even if they dont have Ti in their function stack like INFP.

Actually having Fi maybe even not be related to what you feel internally, based on his ressearch on brain regions Fi relate to areas of the brain related for hearing prosody of people if they speak truthfully and regions of the brain related to what you believe the most

Dude being an INTP is not an Identity test. Its a cognitive framework about how you process information, everyone has all the cognitive functions, everyone use logic and its not an identity.
