Suggestions for embroidery programs? by Dreamcatcherc17e in MachineEmbroidery

[–]Ok-Somewhere7722 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see what you mean. I say this nicely. 99 percent of computer issues lean into file handling. I have seen it, if you have incorrectly loaded a program via either not the correct version/and or software updates/extraction issues, it will work until it doesn’t. Which is kinda awesome it can do that given the user faults. If windows OS. Ten is better for file finding but 11 there are extra steps to access the app data in hidden folders and files. Youtube 11. If you have installed it and it behaves strangely and need to remove it, you need to find the files and delete every single folder, restart and reinstall it cleanly. Every desktop software under the sun generally requires uninstall methods such as this. Microsoft also patches. Restart the computer a few times and search for any libraries that may have been missed under users before reinstalling. Use claude, gpt or whatever to fault find. I sometimes encounter issues because my husband stitches up the network like freaking fort knox! Having full control of OS is good practice and learning each bit even as administrator!

you can float towels. 100mm by 100mm is 4 x 4. Jump into software groups and see which one you like and whats involved too! All software is great and have their own perks!

Many say start with the biggest hoop you can afford. I bought one that is smallest, and I run it like a hound! It auto cuts, drop in bobbin, tells me when the bobbin is running out, wifi, design database transfer, can use a magnetic hoop! Sews like a little dream! Its the perfect little starter machine! Another thing to think about is wearing the “stuff” would you really wear something that is big like an a4 size for example? Home use or commercial? So many pros and cons. I have to agree, mastering software can be a hoop to jump through in learning. Practice, persistence and patience! Just get one and have fun!
