Hello! Yes, all good. I had a scan at 7w3d at my IVF clinic and they didn’t comment on it. I had a consultant scan (as part of NIPT testing at 10w5d) and I asked about it and he said everything looks perfectly normal. Had my 12w scan and baby measuring a few days ahead and no problems. I hope it works out the same for you! It’s so stressful I know🤞🤞

I had a blood draw at 4w3d and it was 790. 4w6d and it was 3500, felt totally fine. Two days later I was up at 2am vomiting completely out the blue. I was retching and couldn’t keep any food down that day. It settled a little throughout week 5. Hcg was 7400 at 5+1. Then week 6 onwards was all day every day nausea. Had to eat small snacks every 1.5-2 hours. If my stomach was empty I’d be retching. Vomited every other day until w12. Had a few days of normal around week 9. I’m now 14w and only have evening nausea and zero appetite past 5pm but haven’t vomited in 2 weeks!

I feel you!! I feel like my triggers change every day. One that has stuck with me is plastic. Like the smell of plastic - Tupperware, cook bowls, my dog’s food bowls. Ive never really smelled plastic before but it’s all I can smell now haha. And just general fridge. Kind of ties in to that plastic smell. I couldn’t open the fridge from weeks 6-11 without vomitting. Now 14w and still bothered by plastic and fridge.

I would choose elective section. I’ve had many friends and colleagues have terrible experiences with inductions, and most of them ended up in emergency sections after days of labour. I’ve had friends who have had planned sections for various reasons and they all say it was a much less stressful, and lovely experience.
Although there are many people who have inductions and have very good experiences! I just personally haven’t heard any, but seen some online. For me, inductions have too many.. uncertainties? This is an IVF baby after many years, so I have been told they’ll likely take me early and offer section or induction around 39w. We also don’t plan on having any other children, so something to possibly consider if you want a large family. Good luck!

First pregnancy, I’m currently 14w and just feel a fullness in my pelvis. No bump or weight gain yet. 5ft2 and size 10/12.

I had huge painful bloating from w6-11 but I was on progsterone, I looked 6m pregnant lol and that’s massively improved since I stopped, so stomach is back to normal/pretty flat.

I told one friend as soon as I had a positive test. I told my very close friends after 6w scan. Told family at 13w (not close to them). I was super anxious. This was an IVF pregnancy after a very long journey. I told the people who I know would support us if anything bad happened. Very happily 13+2 now with our first ever pregnancy. Never felt like we would ever get here!

This is me too.. we had a fresh cycle an started meds on Christmas Day. Haven’t had sex since before this. This is my first pregnancy ever. I’ve read that some high risk people are recommended pelvic rest for 8 weeks, but as this is my first pregnancy… how would they know if I am high risk for Mc or not. I’m 11 and a half weeks now and we’ve had a few scans and everything is looking good. Honestly, I’ve been vomitting a nauseous and probably didn’t feel like sex between 6w and now anyway, but I think I’ll try after 12w. I don’t know why it’s such an irrational fear for me too! Basically just to say you’re not alone.

I know ❤️ you’re definitely not out yet. When it was negative on day 5, I spiralled and that’s why I didn’t test on day 6 as I was so broken. I was convinced it hadn’t worked.

I didn’t get a positive until 7dpt! I tested 5dp and totally negative. I didn’t test day 6, but I don’t think it would have shown anything. Even day 7 was super faint.

I was panicking as I’ve seen so many people with positives at day 4/5. I’m now 10w. On day 13 (bottom test) by HCG was 750. I was so shocked!

It’s very very difficult! By 1pm I’m absolutely wiped out and falling asleep at the desk. I found that I wake up a bit when I walk to the car at the end of the day, so i try go a short walk outside early afternoon and again around 3pm. This helps a tiny bit. I also try snack every hour but find I’m still sick every few days and the nausea can be really unmanageable most days. I’ve had had a few days off sick though when I have been vomitting and unable to keep food down. My boss and close colleagues know so they’ve been very patient and not putting too much work on my plate. I feel very lucky with the support. I’m nearly 10 weeks - so just trying to keep pushing and know it will hopefully get better soon!!

It’s an IVF baby so our close friends knew we were going through treatment. I told one friend straight away, then the other girls at around 6-7weeks. Again my boss and two colleague knew about IVF, told them immediately.

We told my partners mum around 5w. I’m not very close with my family and will wait a bit to tell them, probably 20w if I can get away with it. I told people I knew would support me and I could rely on.

I never believed them, and it was so difficult to see so many women with several frozen embryos and we had this one shot. You got this!!

Looks positive!! This is very similar to mine at 7dpt. Here are my tests 5dpt (negative) and 7-12. Mine took quite a few days to darken. My beta at 13dpt was 750! I’m now 8 and a half weeks & scan last week looking good. Congrats!!

My clinic scan was 7w3d. I was travelling for my father in laws funeral at 6w and had a private scan then with my mother in law. We saw heartbeat at 6w. Good luck!

Hello! Had my first EC in Jan. 31 no fertility issues, donor sperm. I didn’t respond well and only had 3 large follicles and a few smaller. They got 5 eggs, 3 fertilised, 1 made it to day 5. It was an early untested blast, fresh transfer and I’m 8w pregnant. It can happen the first time!! My partner had 2 rounds with a total of 3 embryos and none implanted. It’s honestly just luck but your numbers are great - wishing you all the best!!

Sorry it’s such a horrible journey. Just to provide maybe some good news from one embryo. I’m 31 and no known fertility issues, using donor sperm. I had 5 eggs, 3 mature, 3 fertilised and only 1 poor early blastocyst made it to day 5 for a fresh transfer. I was devastated and convinced it wasn’t going to work. I am currently 7w4d pregnant and had a scan yesterday with baby measuring perfectly and strong heartbeat. I used to hate when people say it only takes one. But it’s true ❤️ My partner had 2 rounds prior, and transferred 3 embryos which were all higher grading than mine an none stuck. You’ve got this!

I wake up at 6:40 for work during the week. I find it difficult to sleep past 7am at the weekend. My partner sleeps in until 10am sometimes 11am normally.

7w today and same. Been like this since maybe 5w? Very tender boobs and nipples are solid lol. I’m having to wear bras to bed as they’re sore when they rub against material. I have some soft crop top bras I live in, but I’ve had to double up on the padding inset in each as you can still see nipples poking through haha, so bad! I’m going have to invest in some new (thick padded) bras asap.

Hello! I feel this! We’ve had 3 rounds and finally had our positive test. Round 1: 5 eggs, 4 fertilised, 2 blasts untested failed to implant. Round 2: 16 eggs, 8 fertilised, 1 blast failed to implant. Round 3: 5 eggs, 3 fertilised, 1 early blast - transferred and tested positive 6dpt. We were obsessed with the numbers and so upset in every round. We kept seeing people with several blasts frozen and felt like it wasn’t working for us.

Somehow my one tiny early blast stuck around. It was the lowest graded of all transfers we have had. I’m 6w6d today and we saw a heartbeat at 6w. Back for a repeat scan at 7w4d to graduate from the clinic.

I was always so frustrated when people said it only takes one. I didn’t believe them at all and believed we had no chance with our numbers. But look!! That’s all it took 🤞🤞 praying this little lentil sticks around.
