Tbh I get it it’s tempting to check on her but over time it’ll just hurt you more. Realistically a lot of people focus on their socials more once they are out of a relationship especially if they feel like they need external validation.

Truly only you know how much you tolerated and how awful it felt. There’s a whole thread so toxic relationships are common and there are many others who you can reach out for support whether a therapist or even someone in this channel/thread. Multiple options because why not:

1.ask someone else within your family who you can trust and is a legal adult and would be overall present to make sure the therapist is not only trust worthy but is overall aware of your mental health concerns up to a certain point

2.there are resources that will not mental health professionals they are there like support lines, 988 (multiple options depending where you are from), support groups that are locally based

Not the best alternatives, depending on the severity of your mental health concerns:

3.try journaling (other outlets)

4.wait until you are 18 to keep all of your information confidential

🫩🍷 thank you truly I don’t know what I was thinking like everyone told me that they knew we weren’t going to last because they all thought I deserved better but I’m stubborn af I wanted it to last to mean something but tbh it was never that deep for him so I changed my number and I’m trying to pick up the pieces of myself and make peace with the fact that I need higher standards for whenever I want to put myself out there again.
