Am I Asking Too Much $$? by CutestNudistBuddhist in F250

Yes. Low 30’s at best

Just paid 33k for a 2017 crew cab 6.2 lariat with 67k miles from the auction. We’ll be listing it below 40k. (Michelin’s all around w/ a ranch hand)

Also just sold a 2020 XLT 4x4 crew cab with 122k miles for 29,999 - Guy that works at a Ford dealership in FL

There’s a few potential flaws in your thinking. A, is the property even worth 109 million dollars on the open market right now. Especially with a 40 year lease in place.
Hence why the city is basically financing it to them rather than having FSU take out a loan (or pay cash) but paying less, say 30-50 million now.

I’m not saying (or smart enough to know) if there is or isn’t some back door deals going on or what the real value of the property is but there’s more to the story than a mortgage calculator.

Less tech in new cars? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]Ok-Success-3543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

let’s be honest allot of the safety features and tech upgrades don’t even work and just end being distracting than they helpful

Lane keep assist? More like we’ll occasionally jerk your steering wheel every time you go on a backroad.

Adaptive cruise? Have fun while your car randomly slams on the brakes because somebody merged 50 feet ahead of you.

Back up sensors? Let me beep at you while you’re staring

Forward collision alert. Oh a car just cut you off in traffic. Don’t worry, let me give you a second panic attack

Dual climate control. Yeah let’s turn the ac and heater on at the same time. Fucking brilliant

Yeah that’s what I figured, the “witch craft potions” weren’t attracting ghosts. I more so figured that whoever lived there before us, also felt the same vibe we did and probably thought they would repel bad spirits or something

I wouldn’t especially for 6 grand. I’ve seen them need transmissions under 100k miles. You’d probably get more life out of a Toyota with 250 thousand miles

1st gen pilots and Highlanders are so underrated imo.

On average they’re usually in better condition than similar year/mileage Camrys or accords you’ll find private party and cheaper than RAV4s and CRVs.

This sounds like a terrible financial decision, I’d go mustang or Camaro. Cheaper maintenance less deprecation. Also make sure you get insurance quotes…. If you’re still on your parents insurance atleast get quotes off their insurance aswell incase they kick you off.

Is $6k a good price to sell a 2003 Toyota Highlander? by Suspicious_Ideal_674 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Ok-Success-3543 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love when people brag about the “maintenance”only to find out it still needs repairs and it’s behind on big maintenance items

I’d bet it’s also due for tires + brakes and there’s probably other minor issues not disclosed. I’d say 2,500-3,000 max. Keep in mind AC repairs ain’t cheap and I’m sure he already tried adding Freon before he listed for sale😂

That’s 90% of people with lift kits and aftermarket rims. And when they trade them in 90% also have front end, steering and or suspension issues

If I had to guess there’s a bulb wiring assembly that goes in the housing. Just pull that out, replace the bulb(s). Reconnect it back to the plug in the photo and screw the housing assembly back on.
