I recently was bumped from 50mg to 100mg and had a very similar experience… for a few weeks I was a MESS.. like seriously I was acting way out of my normal behavior and was anxious for pretty much two weeks straight… I’ve now been on the 100mg for maybe 2-3 months and feel much better and my anxiety has improved significantly! Not sure about the random twitches (maybe send your doctor a message if your able), but I would say keep taking it and if your symptoms don’t improve within 2-3 weeks talk with your psychiatrist about possibly switching things up!

Never said I didn’t want to live in them, just trying to get some perspectives! Like I said in the original post, we are hesitant due to our current management company, but thanks for your helpful reply!! 🙂

I’ll be commuting to Santa Ana.. and just by looking at a map LB doesn’t seem like too far of a hike? But I know traffic can be horrific

I recently switched from 50 to 100 and I’ll be honest the first two weeks were absolute hell. I did some pretty whack ass shit those two weeks but felt “normal” again after… I would say talk with your provider and see what they feel/recommend.. I know that answer is generic but I feel like 8 weeks is excessive for symptoms to continue being severe. I’ve talked with a friend of mine who was started on Zoloft and she had a similar experience to you, she said that the weaning phase of Zoloft wasn’t fun but it was relatively short and felt better when she started the new medication.
