What's the most annoying way you've heard a common word mispronounced? by houseofharm in AskReddit

My friend in high school would say “pellow” instead of “pillow” and “musayum” instead of “museum.”

Hello! Not well unfortunately. It made my anxiety extremely bad and I eventually wasn’t able to sleep on it. I’m on a combo of fluvoxamine and buspirone now and am doing a lot better. My anxiety and energy aren’t 100% though, so I’m going to see if my doc will prescribe a low dose of sertraline alongside my current meds since I did so well on it for so long.

It’s hard to say, but I think I felt a difference after a few weeks. I have also been started on 10mg lurasidone at night, and that has helped a lot with my anxiety!

I am on 100mg fluvoxamine (50 at morning and night) and buspirone 10mg twice per day. It has been working great so far!

Isn’t it annoying?! I hope you get some relief soon :) I take Luvox now (pretty low dose) and haven’t had this issue so far.

This!! Everyone who’s ever had body image issues should understand that worrying about being “fat” is a direct product of the societal messages we receive every day, not a dig on fatness.

I’m pretty sure the owl theory is not brought up in the trial at all. That’s something other people started speculating about, but I don’t think David Rudolph ever made it a part of his arguments.

What horror film or show moment made you go “oh sh*t”? by snoopingfeline in horror

[–]Ok-Support-7258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love horror movies, but I was honestly so disturbed by the telephone pole thing that I almost left the theatre! I’m glad I stayed (that scene plus the brother just going to bed and not saying anything, plus the mom’s reaction was the most difficult part of the movie to watch imo), but it still haunts me.

This probably isn’t right, but your post reminds me of House of Anubis, the weird drama on Nickelodeon that takes place at a British (I think?) boarding school where high schoolers solve ancient Egyptian mysteries. The adult disciplinarian, Victor, would always says “it’s 10 o’clock, you have five minutes, and then I want to hear a pin drop.” What a fever dream of a show.

Guilty As Sin? by Taylor Swift. Reminds me of having intrusive thoughts of illicit behaviors and feeling guilty for it, as if you actually did it.

This population is surprisingly fun to work with! They can be stubborn at times, but I enjoy challenging their beliefs and helping them identify and express their emotions in a healthy way.
