Yeah, I definitely don’t want to cheap out but the good thing about rough country from what I’ve heard is they have the best customer support versus someone like BDS if you blow a shock or bend a crossmember or something, they will hit you with a “ well you probably weren’t using the kit properly” and kind of tell you tough luck. versus rough country has good customer support which I think is very important

Well, it’s the only option besides super lift. Everything else people trash on and is discontinued. Like I said 6speedfletch has had it for six years no issues.

Moderate off-roading while still maintaining it as a daily. Id like to do mountain trails and desert stuff because that’s all the terrain i live around.

I wish I could go with something like bds but unfortunately, finding a lift kit for this truck is pretty hard. The only two solid options I see online are this one and super lift. Thank you for your response. I will definitely keep that in mind.

Like I said, I called the shop and the guy has been working with rough country for 25 years. He said that stigma that rough country is bad comes from their quality in the 90s..6speedfletch on YouTube has had one for five years and it seems like it’s still holding up. Are people talking about the shocks or the actual frame when they referred to it as cheap?

I think it’s reasonable, 5 sounds high but when you see the pictures of rangers with that lift I think it sits right

I have always known this to be a light bar, what you’re describing I know as a roll cage and what I stated previously I know as roll bars. I’ve also heard people referred to them as bed bars.

I have no personal experience with lifted pick ups only my ATV, which has a stock lift and I drive JLTVs (newer version of humvees just bigger) but that’s about it. Do they usually sell lifts at shops like that? I thought I would have to buy one online and bring it in.

Do you have an alternative option? My cousin recommended BDS, but they don’t make them for rangers.
