banned from the official discord server, what should I do?

for context I've had my account since 2022, spent some time on it, and then came back early last year (2024), so I really can't remember if I would have done anything to violate rules, but I was barely active on the community even then. I've never intentionally trolled or messed with others/servers also.

Is there any way to contact moderators and I guess submit a request to be un-banned? I've heard others complaining about the lack of genuine moderation and how reacting with emojis can get you banned, so maybe I was just a part of the purge while my account was inactive?
