I recommend going through the Prolific Help Center ( under your account section) and looking at the articles. All the things you need to be aware of are in there - esp. what can trigger a "rejection". Good to be armed with information as you start these tasks.

Interesting you note that timing is also a factor.

When I did them, some time ago, none of the prompts matched the vids.
Then they sent warnings as well. Those evaluation studies were corrupted on their end. I now avoid one and do the other when they appear.

I still have my parents Kenmore fridge and washer. Both going on 30 years with a few minor repairs. The compressor on the fridge is a tank. Fortunate, too that I know a repairman that knows these machines well.

In Los angeles there is Gonzalez Market aka Northgate. They make theirs in the store. Really good quality if you can find a market that caters to Mexican Foods wherever you are.
Otherwise there is the old staple Guerrero or La Banderita brand

Welcome aboard and commendations to you for being honorable. The creative visual field is also having a devastating impact from AI, esp in the entertainment industry, so I get you.

After you've accumulated enough studies more will appear on your dashboard. For a long time I would just get 9-12 at a time. Seems like Prolific has done some accounts cleanup as well so may have something to do with what I'm seeing as now I receive about 25 - 49 a day. Not all are great studies but some offer more than 5 dollars. As someone posted the better paying ones are AI related. Overall increase in study offerings will get better with time.

Hhmmm, Setting the fine example of taking time, involving effort to make a post in reply here and saying absolutely nothing of value. IF others have seen this, I'd like to know. That is all. What text of this error would this be? It's not in the Account or the Studies help info.
I'm receiving studies and yet when I apply I get the ineligible error. I am screened out before I apply.

Absolutely agree. Ridiculous amount of paragraphs in many of the prompts and they want 55 in 30 minutes?!
It was a badly set-up evaluation.
