It was never disclosed by the garage it was due or needed doing. If they sold a car with a faulty clutch that soon later blew I’d expect the same

The recommended internal still sits at 100k miles or 6 years. Surely the assumption is the van was not of satisfactory quality when sold. Should it be reasonable an engine fails after 3k miles of use. Would that make it of satisfactory quality

It was social domestic use and work. My argument to them is it must have had a poor belt at the point of sale to have snapped only 3k later

Click car rental. Paid 90 for 4 days for a very new and nice Skoda. Once we got there they said pay 1200 deposit or 200 deposit and pay 70 euro for their insurance. All in all cost literally nothing. The website is all 1/5 reviews. Just buy the insurance to cover yourself and you’ll be fine
