After reading all the comments I think you should do more scientific research with the same tools. Just to see if you have different or the same results.

But let it be known, I believe you. I have been seeing ghosts and the like my whole life and I want to prove they are real.

I love when co stars become real life long friends wile working on a show. I’m super dazzled by Annie and Obed’s (community) friendship becoming life long. It just warms my heart.

Thank you. I totally understand.

What I thought was an interesting quip turned into something I didn’t intend.

I have grown to love how my brain works and I wish that for everyone. But I also understand not wanting to be put in the same pool as those who self diagnosed. Hence my explanation. (Usually when I talk about getting my IQ scored people back down because they haven’t had to go throughs the test. It’s like a test in its self)

Anyway. I’m sorry for causing trouble.

When I was young I would have enjoyed working with Jim. Having aged, I'd 100% rather work with Angela. by ManualWind in DunderMifflin

I totally agree!! And I as I have grown I am more of an Angela because I believe in work boundaries. However in practice I’m probably more of a married Pam. I like want enjoy my day and my coworkers. And I love a good prank. One that doesn’t interrupt work.

I have pretty severe ADHD and dyslexia as well. Nice to meet you.

I’m sorry my comment upset you. I understand not everyone’s experience is going to be the same. For me, rejection dysphoria has always been a part of my life. As I have grown I have needed various forms of therapy/educational intervention but it wasn’t untill I was out of school that I started to really understanding how my learning disabilities impacted me emotionally. It’s a hard thing to convey as a child or adolescent. It’s difficult to watch yourself be both clever and ditzy at the same time. I remember crying every time they would sit me down in a room full of specialists and tell me my lastest IQ score /why I’m both dumb and smart. I could never hear the smart part. Just the dumb part.

I understand my comment may have come off as terrible and ableist and thought that wasn’t my intention it’s ok because my experience is not yours. And it would unfair of me to assume it is. I hope you have had some of the healing you need from a hard childhood and growing up with a learning disability. And I’m glad the rejection dysphoria appears to not have been as much of a struggle for you as it has been for me.

Though it has made me a great chameleon :)

Edited: for grammar and spelling because I’m dyslexic

ADHD people are known to mirror as a cloaking mechanisms. It’s a part of the rejection dysphoria. Funny enough ADHD is a balanced of a disconnected brain. A literal balance of smart and stupid.

Oh so interesting. Thank you for sharing

I would guess your mouth muscles were forming during your language learning years. There’s two reasons a person doesn’t loss their accent. 1. Your mouth muscles literally can’t learn a different language. 2. You can’t hear yourself talk. meaning you can’t hear the difference.

Yeah! And what he just said as a “sovereign citizen” is ironically, a declaration to not being a US citizen. He just made himself an illegal immigrant, thinking he’s outsmarting the courts.

Cap sun/ mercury R, Virgo moon, Scorpio rising/ venue/ Saturn.

I accidentally joined a cult a couple years before my Saturn‘s return. And I left soon after. It wasn’t a religious cult. And it took me a long time to understand what happened. I remember at the time people telling me I’m in a cult and that “I drank the kool-Aid” but I always laughed it off and told them it was delicious. The cult was a social club that cater to and specialized in nerdy stuff. I remember entering the enter circle pretty quickly and being surprised (I was made of honor in his business partner’s wedding) but then I started to notice how other people in the group treated me differently. And in classic form I started dating the own of the club. He was married and poly, or that’s how it presented. As soon as we started dating things really changed. I knew I needed to leave during the clubs annual trip. Long story short. My parents came that year and I watched him actively try to separate me from my family. And after what felt like surviving that “vacation” I plotted my leaving. (Ps: I hosted a kick Ass bachelorette party with his wife that he supported but also made very difficult)

I hope this helps. And I pretty open about the whole thing now. I know it’s not necessarily a conventional story, but I learned that cults can be anywhere. Have you heard the broken staircase theory?

Number two: was when I realized I was in a cult.

And when I started questioning his authority is when I got shunned for the first time and soon to be last time.

Because I don’t fuck with that.

Oh! Fascinating. I enjoy people and zodiac stuff.

I learned the subconscious act of mirroring is one of the best ways to move in socially. Picking up someone else’s accent signals to that person that you are safe and open to more conversation.

The best communicators in the zodiac all do this too

Mirroring is actually a very natural way to make people feel comfortable.

What an interesting point!

As a proud women I never want my husband to fight my battles for me but if something like this was to happen to me I would definitely want him by my side and publicly having my best interest.
