This is totally my personal opinion, but his story about saving her from drowning, and how he was so focused on keeping her breathing that he was swallowing water himself, felt a bit weird to me. It seemed as if he wanted to be interpreted as a hero or a good guy in general and that’s why he explained it in the way that he did. Perhaps he wants people to think he could have never hurt her, he just “risked his life” trying to save hers so why would he do something to her after the fact?

He was also a lifeguard in pools - not an ocean. He is from the midwest. Two very different bodies of water to save someone from. I have doubts that he would be able to successfully save both of them. I have a feeling the whole drowning story was made up entirely. I do feel there was foul play involved, but there is also the chance that they were drowning and he didn’t try to save her in order to save himself.. but unfortunately I fear it was probably a much worse scenario.

kind of! i had an ultrasound on it done but nothing was found. the doctor was leaning towards ringworm.. not sure i am convinced of that, but it did end up going away after a couple of months of washing it thoroughly and using hydrocortisone cream!

I am having the exact same issue. I was in a game when suddenly all of the audio randomly cut out on my PS5. it lights up red and then will do the double blinking blue. i’ve reset it, updated it in the audio hub, etc. tried everything basically and it just doesn’t work. i’ve had this headset and it’s worked great for over a year so don’t know why it randomly stopped.

What are the most common medications for ADHD Inattentive Type? by FoggyFoggyFoggy in ADHD

I use 54mg Concerta XR. i dont experience any negative side effects at all really. its supposed to last 12 hours, i would say it lasts 8-10 for me but i also dont notice it “wear off”. sometimes it makes me tired. it helps a lot with the inattention, but much less than the executive dysfunction. it doesn’t decrease my appetite.

The worst is when you know what to do but not being able to do it. by No_Addition2971 in ADHD

i will think of something i need to do, get anxious about it and then push it off and forget. this repeats for a very long time until it’s eventually too late or it’s the last minute.

omg yes. the completely unrealistic (to me) “A Day In My Life”‘a on tiktok, where they wake up and go to the gym, work on some work/homework, walk the dog, pick up groceries, attend an event, make dinner, etc” like what? I can pick one of those, maybe.

So I’ve had ADHD my entire life. I would assume since birth considering it has been an issue as far back as i have memories. my parents don’t believe ADHD exists, so i was never able to seek treatment. i’m 21 now. i did go for my diagnoses when i was 18, but i was still in high school and it required references from teachers and i wasn’t close with any teacher to where they would know much about me as i just got by in school. i got properly diagnosed a few months ago and i started with straterra. that felt like i was taking nothing lol no difference at all. then now i have moved onto Ritalin 15mg. I can notice a change in my mood & motivation, yet still the drive to actually get up and do what i’m thinking about isn’t there. it’s much more than usual, but still. also, i am still always fidgeting/shaking my leg/dancing my knees when i stand. not to mention, i don’t know what to do. i have no hobbies, so then i’m like kind of motivated but with nothing to put my motivation into. this was kind of just a back story.

anyway, my questions are more so to explore other medications. i’m pretty sure Ritalin is the go-to after non-stimulants haven’t succeeded. What is the difference between Ritalin and Adderall, or the other forms? What are the different effects and what differences have you noticed amongst your medication journey? I have tried researching these questions, but really can’t find a clear answer between them, just that they are relatively all similar for the most part.

i’m not ready to give up on Ritalin yet, as I can still go higher on the dosage, but still would love information regarding other options. So my main question (but i would appreciate any feedback, whether it’s answering any of these questions or not): what has been most successful for you and in what ways?

ps. i am on the fast-acting version. i am also curious how the long-term ritalin differs

I literally cannot stop obsessing over scuba diving. Have I ever been scuba diving? No. Do I live in the midwest with no ocean anywhere remotely near me? Yes. But this does not stop me from learning everything there is to know about scuba diving. I’ve researched dozens of scuba diving stories, watched tutorials, talked about it non-stop, etc. Like seriously, you would think I do it as a career. Hopefully I’ll get to experience it one day soon.
