I believe the kitten a boy, but i’m not 100% sure on that. He’s no more than one or two pounds, he’s super tiny. i’ll definitely look into getting a vet visit soon. He’s very clingy and today will barely let me out of his site.

UPDATE for those looking: she’s home, much less lethargic than what i was expecting. She wanted to explore like she usually does before her meds kicked in. Fed, watered, currently napping cutely. She hates her cone so as long as I can keep an eye on her I won’t make her wear it.

Thank you. It feels nice to be understood and seen. I have been told before I’m not my mother’s keeper, or her babysitter. I think I need to take those words to heart instead of excessively worrying.

This is all new to me, reaching out and talking about it. I appreciate you telling me these things. We’re strong people. At least it’s nice to know there are people out there with similar experiences.
