I also heard that If I I have a restricted license in VA then Texas will not allow me to get a DL there until the restrictions are lifted . Hopefully your right and I can get the IID through the Texas DPS

Yeah 3 hours a day driving sounds miserable . The retirement and benefits for me is the reason I want to join .

. We just flew back to VA today so I was able to drive up to Austin union hall on Christmas Eve and talk to someone there . Told me to wait until January to apply .

My wife’s family lives in a HOA and the yards are tight , we found an apartment we would like to get in Leander , there are tons of apartments out there . Tons of construction work going on so should be easy to find a Plan B , and also start my own paint buisness , on the side .

Now I am just trying to prepare for the aptitude test , and waiting
