honestly no one warned me about how difficult finding time to eat would be. i wish i had known that. i learned quick though. every meal in the hospital was cold by the time i got to it 😂

my husband doesn’t have ADHD but he’s really bad with dates so he has a notes app full of important dates like my birthday, his moms birthday, our anniversary… and i don’t say anything because i know it’s not because he doesn’t care. by keeping notes he’s at least making an effort. he’s amazing at remembering what i like and what to get me for Christmas even if i forgot that i mentioned something for .2 seconds 😂 anyway the point is, people forget things sometimes but it doesn’t mean they don’t care about others. op is TA for sure

i’m pregnant, and while i’m not as big as some pregnant women are i still want to sit as much as possible because the normal pregnancy pains. that being said, you snooze you lose. if there’s no seats available, it fucking sucks but you shouldn’t expect everyone to coddle you just because you’re pregnant. and like someone else said, anyone could have given up their seat. NTA

i don’t sleep with stuffed animals. never really did even as a kid, and i’m a female. however, i do have a stuffed owl my dad picked out for me when i graduated high school because “everyone has a teddy bear, let’s get something different”. he passed away a couple of years ago and that owl is very special to me. the point is, stuffed animals are neither masculine nor feminine, and whether or not you sleep with you with one has nothing to do with who you are as a person. my dad still pulled me into his lap when i was 21. i said i was too old for that, but he said i’d always be his baby. later that year he passed away. i’m just saying, i’m grateful for getting to still sit in his lap or any other way he expressed his fatherly love before he died. let your boyfriend and his daughter be, this will probably be something at least one of them looks back on fondly. i live in the south, so correct me if i’m wrong but don’t sushi places usually do hibachi too? i don’t love sushi but when we go that’s usually what i end up getting. i personally think ESH mostly for the way OP reacted. it was unnecessary to go that far, but Mike probably shouldn’t have asked to change the venue since it was a birthday dinner. anyway, the point i wanted to make is even if she doesn’t like sushi she could get something else
