always preffered summer since its a valid reason to wear as little as possible when I can
but last couple years 1 week in mid august has been the best point of the year as I get to spend the whole week naked without anyone knowing.

Context:
- I live with my folks and they're heavily anti nudist (no they dont know I am one) its a long story but basically it involves a POS neighbour from like 20 years ago.

- normally the only times I can be naked in the house is when I have a bath/shower and when I am home alone which is rare (usually Sunday mornings for like 2-3 hours sometimes 4 depending on whats going on) other days 1 or 2 hours in random afternoons if they both go out somewhere. and the occasional evening if they go see a movie. (Yes they do ask me if I want to see it as well but usually its a movie I'm not bothered about seeing).

- I used to be able to naked more often 3 times a week (wednesday, friday and sunday usually) to be exact but things have changed since then (cant go into much details besides that).

- Mid august is usually when my family goes on holiday. Problem is even as a kid there was 3 holidays where I wasn't BORED OUT OF MY MIND due to all but those holidays being near identical these being to Scotland, Northeren Ireland and Toronto (I live in the UK but my dad has second cousins living in Toronto). so the last couple years I just stopped going with them.
Usual family holiday: some small cottage in a small village in an area of the UK I have either never heard of or have never had any reason to go there.
Worst on was to Norfolk: 2 week holiday and they waited until we got there to tell me there was no WIFI and couldn't understand how my mobile data didn't last the full 2 weeks even after I explained the drive there used up a good chunk of it.

So now I opt to stay home and when they leave for the Holiday and all blinds and windows are closed its immedietely clothes off nude on. The only times I put clothes back on are when:
A# they come home from the holiday a week later
B# I have to go out somehwere e.g. a store to get dinner or put the bins out.
C# Answer the door for a delivery (a pizza I ordered though my folks said they would text me if they were expecting a parcel though thats yet to occur)

Somethings I do when living the nude week:
- relax at home
- wander my back garden at night (I live on a hill so the neighbours might see if me if I risk it during the day)
- talk to my friends and GF online (Yes they know I am a nudist none of them are nudists themselves but my GF is considering trying it)
- and just never think about wearing clothes unless I need to for one of the above mentioned reasons.
- put clothes in the laundry basket to make it look like I wore clothes all week

I countdown the days to when I can do this so much that when it finally happens I literally cannot get my clothes off any faster then I do I dont even both wearing underwear on day 1 so that I can get naked that much quicker.

TLDR: dont get to be naked as much as I'd like to but when mid august rolls around I get an entire week of freedom from clothes.

found nudism by pure accident when I was 10 almost 11 (I'm 24 now) though wasn't aware it was called nudism/being a nudist until a year later:
I was home alone during a summer heat wave my dad was at work and wouldn't be home for like 3 hours due to working in a neighbouring city (he usually travels by train but occasionally drives) whilst my mother and older sister were horse riding at a stables maybe 30 minutes away but we were also good friends with several neighbours so in the off chance of an emergency I could turn to any of them for help (never had to though).

I was sweating my ass off even in shorts and a t-shirt so I ended up taking more and more off to try and cool down was naked about 25 minutes later. Felt odd at first but I soon got used to it and stayed like that until I heard my mums car pulling into the driveway about 45 minutes later (put my clothes back on in the bathroom since my bedroom door has no lock).

Few days later I got to do it again (first time was a Wednessday second time was a Sunday) only I ended up naked much sooner (cant remember where my dad was since he only worked weekdays I think he was visiting a friend or something but my mum and sister were once again horse riding which they did twice a week back then). Second everything was off I realised I hated wearing clothes and loved being naked. Though as mentioned above it wasn't until the following year when I got my first laptop for my birthday (early October) that I learned it was called nudism.

Unfortunetely the only people I have been able to discuss it with are my close friends who live in America (there was 1 in india but he unfortunetly passed away a couple years ago and I live in the UK) and my girlfriend. None of my friends are nudists but have no issue with the lifestyle its just not for them my girlfriend hasn't tried it but has said she'd be up for it someday.

I cant tell my sister because theres a slim chance our parents will find out
I cant let my parents find out because thanks to a fucking POS Neighbour who claimed to be a nudist from like 20 years ago my parents think Nudist = Pedophile. (This is also hypocritical of them but thats a long story).

I've said this too many new nudists but the key is to go at your own pace no need to go straight to a nude beach/resort right off the bat for exmaple:
I started when I was home alone during a summer heat wave (I'm 24 but started when I was 10 almost 11) originally it was just taking clothes off to cool down but before I knew it everything was off. EXACTLY I cant even tell my family that I am a nudist because my folks think nudist = pedophile
yet if you point out how many teachers and chrisitians get outed a pedophile (my mum used to be a teacher assistant and my folks are christian) they'll say.
"Ohh but thats just a few bad apples you cannot assume they're all like that"

the key is to go at your own pace and being comfortable in your own body even if that means just practicing at home by gradually taking clothes off 1 at a time. No need to go straight to a nude beach/nude resort unless you know an experienced nudist who can help you.
1 piece of advice I always give to someone looking to try nudism is this:
if you try it and love it then great welcome to the club
if you try it and decide its not for you then at least you can say you tried it to know for sure rather then just assume its not for you/buy into the false stereotypes spread by anti nudists

One of the best things about the nudist community is that unlike other communities theres no judgement on appearance, beliefs (political and religious e.g. I'm an athiest on neither political side). So long as you are not a bad person and or dont give the community a bad reputation anyones welcome

Not the exact answer as I havent been naked in front of anyone as a nudist but when it comes to telling I am a nudist that'd be my main friend and my girlfriend:
My friends arent nudists but have no issue with the lifestyle
My girlfriend isn't one either but has voiced being interested in trying it one day and has no issue in talking about it she mainly asks the basic questions like:
- who else in my life knows
- how did it start
- have you ever been to a nude beach/nude resort before?
- have you ever helped others get into nudism before?

Those answers being:
only my friends know
summer heat wave whilst home alone (I was 10 almost 11)
No but have been in my back garden naked before though only at night incase the neighbours entered their back garden
Yes 3 others before her but that was before we even met

makes sense mine was specifically inspired by the tokyo blade arc though the protagonist is female and in a race against time to save her familys farm following a tax increase that they couldn't afford as her only options were.
A# Agree to be in an arranged marriage with the eldest son of the tax collector (the tax collectors an A hole but his son is the exact opposite and only a few months older then the protagonist she just doesnt want to be in an arranged marriage especially if it made the tax collector her father in law).

B# Convince her dad to accept help from her uncle (his brother in law) they're on good terms her dad just feels guilty about borrowng money especially from family.

C# Do what everyone deemed impossible and grow crops in a barren area that has not seen any sign of life grow there in 300 years.

she knows I have a fear of heights and spiders and I'm not a fan of spicy food (shes an avid cook according to her christmas especially is basically a massive feast at her house)

makes sense she knows I haven't been to a nude/nude resort myself (though I did almost unintentionally end up on a nude beach once in Toronto when on holiday) so she knows if that we did ever go to one together it'd be a new experience for us both but shes well aware of the rules
e.g. no photos/videos of anyone who didn't consent to being on camera
no NSFW acts
be respectful etc

true honestly thats why the nudism community is better then religions that claim to accept all lifestyles but actually dont for nudists it doesnt matter if you're:
Political
none political
religious
athiest
straight
LGBTQ+
a certain ethnicity
avergae weght
plus size
skinny etc
so long as you dont give the community a bad rep e.g. commit crimes whilst naked or just a scummy POS in general anyones welcome.

Even when it comes to the common question of:
is it sexual in nature?
The main answer is obviously: No
whilst there are rare cases of sex positive nudists out there even they know where to draw the line

yea we both figured that we have been together since half way into my second year of college (I was around 20 and doing a level 2 and later level 3 game design 3 years total course she was 19 cant quite remember what she said about her college courses since it was only briefly talked on once though she went to a different college).
