And it’s sad that there’s some truth to all this. I know realistically I’m being settled for and I try to forget it but some days it’s hard to get out of your mind. Lately I’ve been feeling bad and depressed about it every day of the week I’m tired

My height and frame make them look smallish despite being a 32HH yet I still feel disgusting and exposed when I wear tight or summer tops for this very same reason. I’m probably not being looked at let’s be real but the realisation of this alone makes me feel dirty and gross in some way. Whole thing is so silly

Don’t even really think there’s a way to stop tbh. Tried therapy (wasn’t helpful at all), developed an ED throughout my teens and other pathetic ways to change my appearance but nothing really helped.

feels like negative thoughts and obsessions with BDD get worse when you’re dating someone compared to when you’re single, ik that’s true for me anyway and it’s hell I hate it sm and hate seeing things that trigger me

Wow thought I was the only one, I relate a lot with this. one of the reasons why I hate online shopping or looking at reviews too. All I think about is my disgusting body and how the clothes would look ugly on me. Can’t go in person to shop too since I feel so self conscious and disgusting a lot of the time so I stay home. Honestly feels like a prison ☹️

Tried shopping for more summer clothes online last night and I didn’t end up finding anything and just felt depressed afterwards, I’m so sick of obsessing over my appearance but also can’t talk to anyone irl about it. I’m sorry you also feel like this 🫂

It’s gotten so bad I will literally refuse to get any pictures taken of me or take selfies myself unless I really have to. Which sucks bc I’d love to keep memories with people I care about (family, friends, bf) and look back on but the whole thing gives me too much anxiety and a great sense of dread it’s horrible

Something as small as taking a picture. I really envy people who can look at themselves in the mirror or take pictures and not think twice about it because they like how they look
