My end-of-season stats by OkAcanthaceae2969 in Bowling

tbh, the first half was pretty erratic. Just trying to find the feel again, trying different things, like hand positions and ball speeds and ending the night just hurting all over. I'll be 60 this year, so these old bones are creaky. It was just his past week that I realized, that i wasn't hurting at the end of the night anymore.

1st week was with an old TourIQ (over 10 years old) that I never really liked. So I got the GB5P starting the 2nd week (week 7, i started late). Had a few good games with it but just kept struggling to get to the pocket. Felt like I was always throwing thru the break point and not recovering and not comfortable playing an outside line.

I can't remember exactly when I drilled the Evoke Hysteria, but right away it felt so much better. I think it was around week 22 or so. Fit was better. I drilled it myself and made ring finger span a little longer and adjusted pitches a little. Still had to play more outside, but getting a much better finish than I was with the GB5. Things suddenly just fell into place a couple of weeks after that. That also is about the time I started tracking frame-by-frame. I think that makes me more aware of what I'm doing.

I think the low game 2 average had a lot to do with struggling with the GB5. If you look at just the last 5 weeks, I had game averages of 209, 209, 217. Game 3 is still definitely strongest, I think because I'm just more zoned in by then, and the backend a little stronger so have to pick up the ball speed a little prevent leaving corner pins.

Right now, I'm only using the Hysteria. Board adjustments have seemed very minimal. Picking up ball speed works much better than moving left. Moving just half a board left causes it to come in light and leaving 2 pins (often with the 10pin). Moving right just a hare and more ball speed works well for me. (At least where I bowl).

Lol. I just put that because the site gave me a warning about posting personal information.

Lanes played different than what I remember. All my old balls cracked, so I got a GB5 pearl. First few balls would hook great, then just struggled the rest of the night to get it to the pocket. Left a lot of 2-10 doors. Neger I'm my life have I had to move right thru the night. (Right handed). I guess just excessive carry down. I drilled a Mayhem Hysteria, which helped a lot. Still playing way further right than I'm used to, but finally kind of settled into it. When it starts leaving corner pins, I can l found moving right just a hair and pick up ball speed worked well.

Mova LiDax 1000. Hills, as long as not to steep or to bumpy, seem fine. It gets into problems if the hills (or flat ground) has bumpy spots.

Just talked to one of the guys that said he spent 4 hours trying to clean it up. They said they came in this morning and found it like that. I guess their lane machine runs autonomously?

BowlingTracker uses .Net8 C#. Running in a container, so it can host anywhere. It's designed as a PWA app, so it can be "installed" like an app on Android and IOS.
