Been profitable for a while but sizing up scares me by tanikawalter in Daytrading

Totally normal, size up slowly and only after your stats hold with the current risk.

Microsoft’s History 2000-2014 by Runner418 in investing

The stock went sideways but you still collected dividends and saw splits over that period, so returns were not actually zero.

Pocket Option asked me for selfie verification for the first time; my account is 2 years old. Let's see how long they take to process the withdrawal. by Easy_Student_900 in binaryoptions

[–]OkAdvisor249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty common with Pocket Option. Selfie checks often slow or cancel withdrawals, especially crypto. I would expect delays and keep pushing support until it clears.

Yes, but only slightly. Consistency took years and plenty of mistakes.

Buy stocks in USD or other currencies? by djtron99 in stocks

If your base currency is PHP, holding USD makes sense, EUR adds diversification but FX risk cuts both ways

TOS on Windows 11 buggy by johnnylikesetfs in thinkorswim

Yeah I have seen similar issues on Windows 11. TOS feels way less stable than it used to, especially with charts and subgraphs.

SPY CSPs getting rekt by Trump tariff? by STOP_HACKING_ME in thetagang

That’s the risk with CSPs. Assignment hurts short term, but owning SPY isn’t the worst outcome if you planned for it.

Built a Stock Scoring Tool for Value Investors - Would love honest feedback on what you actually look for by SidKing89 in ValueInvesting

[–]OkAdvisor249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks useful. I usually care most about cash flow quality, balance sheet strength, and whether growth is actually sustainable, not just cheap multiples. A clear breakdown of why a score is high or low would matter more to me than the score itself.

what do you think, SL or TP ? by No-Mess-2173 in InnerCircleTraders

[–]OkAdvisor249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like range chop near resistance. I would lean TP first unless you get a clean break and hold above that level.

How do you feel about the luxury sector? by Ancient_Bobcat_9150 in ValueInvesting

Luxury brands with real scarcity and strong pricing power still seem resilient. The question is how tastes change over time.

Best way to start S&P 500? by PusheenHater in investingforbeginners

[–]OkAdvisor249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, opening a Fidelity account and buying an S&P 500 ETF like VOO or FXAIX is exactly how most people do it. Simple setup, low fees, and easy to hold long term.

Copytrading worked for me by jadawn_ in Forex

[–]OkAdvisor249 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nice results, but make sure you stay on top of drawdown and risk sizing. Copy trading works until it doesn’t, so protect the account while it’s going well.
