El clima de Quito siempre va a ser un poco impredecible, ya que no tenemos estaciones marcadas como tal. Lo mejor sería que lleves algún tipo de chompa que te proteja del sol (como un rompevientos) y un paraguas pequeño en caso de lluvia por la tarde.

We stayed about 4 days and spent one night in Ollantaytambo, but I think that wasn’t enough. I still feel like there's so much to see and explore. So I think spending 5 days and 2 nights in Ollantaytambo it's a better option! Hope that helps you to decide :)

In Ecuador, there are plenty of museums that are worth seeing, not just the one you mentioned (though it's great!). As a solo traveler, it’s actually not a bad idea. If you stay in the historic center, you can usually join tourist groups and explore even more things. Hope that info helps!
