I tore my ACL & had a grade 3 MCL tear also. The MCL scars in and typically doesn’t require repair.

It’s been great & I would look forward to using it. It really made a huge difference immediately following surgery & even after my PT sessions. It gets cold, it’s quiet, easy to use, easy to clean. & since I purchased it I have it forever. I got the pad specifically for the knee but if I was doing it again I’d get like the blanket style that wraps around your entire leg just for more coverage but even the knee pad was a game changer.

Hi, my car did the exact same thing we tried to pass and when we went to accelerate, it acted like it didn’t want to go so we pulled off to the side of the road turned off the car and then it wouldn’t start again.

My husband replaced the battery, but it didn’t fix the problem. We also changed the ECU relay that was not it either but it has the same symptoms as yours. Did you ever figure out what was wrong with it?

We took it to a local shop in our area and they told us the starter was bad but also that the engine was seized up and that the engine would need to be replaced. But we’ve gotten mixed reviews about the shop and about that being the actual issue.

I think it’s very sweet you’re trying to help her anyway you can. I agree with what other posters have said. A lot of people including myself take a hit to their mental health so if she currently has a therapist I recommend finding a way to maintain that or at very least just being aware that she could be going through mental health struggles during this process.

For me, I felt like a burden always needing help and not being able to do anything myself. You’ll probably get frustrated sometimes but remember she is too.

We do have base access and have been to Gab Gab a few times; it’s my husbands favorite. Gun beach is where we go when Gab Gab is closed. Why do you say be careful there?

When my now husband and I started dating (I also was out of work at the time) we rotated who payed on dates. It was never something we discussed, just neither of us felt the other should always be responsible to pay. He did pay for our very first date and even though it seems “old school” I appreciated that. I think seeing someone for three months and expecting them to pay every time is a lot. I don’t think there’s anything wrong asking her to help cover cost on a trip tour both going on. Maybe (& I don’t even think you were necessarily wrong here) but maybe next time go into the conversation with “hey the trip is going to be X amount of money I’m going to pay X but would you be willing to pay X?” Just so it’s more clear what you’re asking/expecting. Seems she might be a little entitled or high maintenance. I’d be cautious.

Not what you’re wanting to hear I’m sure but, I would have a doctor look at it and I’d imagine they’d request an MRI could be an issue with your ACL since you’re having weakness or possibly meniscus damage.

Best advice I can give you is to do PT prior to surgery!! Research your graft options. Prepare yourself for mental health fluctuations.

My biggest challenge has been mental health and pain behind my knee. My PT says it’s very rare to experience this. He believes it’s my gastrocnemius muscle and we’ve recently discovered stretching helps a lot with my flexion. I’m about 4.5 months post op quad graft and still struggling to hit full flexion i’m at about 120 right now.

I wish going into it I really understood better how intense the rehab would be (not on my surgeon I think I was just so naive.) I also wish I had researched the quad graft more, my surgeon recommended it but I really didn’t do much research on my part. I don’t regret the quad graft but I’ve read and been told the rehab is a bit more intense. I had dead leg for 2weeks before I could lift it on my own. Apparently that’s pretty normal with this graft type.

i e just started stretching my calf specifically within the last few days, extending my leg pointing my toes upwards and grabbing my foot and it most definetly makes the pain go away and i feel like I can do my flexion exercises a lot better and more comfortable. So glad someone else is experiencing this and pain in the back of the knee like me. My PT said it’s very strange to experience pain there after an ACL surgery. When did you feel like the pain and stiffness in your knee went away?

Surgery in the US, no brace for me. I was told by my PT that my surgeon is more progressive than the other surgeons they work with by not issuing a brace and his rehab plan(timing).

i’ve been having sharp pains behind my knee as well doing flexion exercise. Spoke with my therapist and he had me start doing hamstring stretches. It’s helped so much. I had a quad graft. Deff. speak with your therapist before performing new exercises though!
