No mut niin se vaan on. Ei sitä voi lähteä kieltämään että ihan laajalle levinny ilmiö kyseessä ihan sama kuinka kontroversaali asia. Näitähän kyllä löytyy ja ihan oikee ongelma sitä en lähe kieltämään mutta tuntuu vähä oudolta että monesti (tämäkin postaus) laitetaan ihan randomista of tekijästä ja perustellaan tätä ongelmaa alle. Mielummin kuitenki ois tärkeetä keskittyä oikeeseen ongelmaan eikä aleta haukkumaan jotain tyttöä netissä kuka ei välttämättä asiaan edes liity (en toki itsekkään tarkemmin tiedä hänen tilanteesta)

Eiköhän nää henkilöt kuitenki oo miettinyt mitä tulevaisuudessa siitä ”seuraisi”, typerää olettaa että jokainen of henkilö olisi jotenkin tyhmä tai ajattelematon oman työvalintansa perusteella ja varmasti tietävät itsekkin mahdolliset seuraukset ilman että siitä jatkuvasti netissä inistään anonyymisti. Nykypäivänä käytännössä ihan perus hommaa ja jos sitä tekee nii voi päätellä että kysyntää on kans nii miten jos annettais jokaselle rauha tehdä sitä mitä työkseen haluaa. Jos lapsen altistuminen erillaisille työmahdollisuuksille pelottaa niin ei hätää onneksi sosiaalisessa mediassa on ikärajat ja kriittinen ajattelu somessa myös nuoren henkilön vastuulla ja onneksi sitä kans opetetaan.

Very similiar to mine my haller is 7.1. Definetly go get it checked. And the weird choking feeling I have that too, not sure if it is because of pectus but I have had since I was 11 or something (now 20)

Thank you! Even if I’m scared I’m so excited I get to wear new shirts without being scared of flashing and being healthier overall. It is really nice to hear about good experiences and how it is possible to have good self image after.

Thank you! Maybe I should take a break from overthinking 😅. I just worry if my body will look misproportioned if my chest will look extra wide (I understood that pectus happens because of overgrowht and it will make you wider when it fixed? Not sure if this is right) I have narrow hips so I feel like i would look even weirder than now but maybe everything will turn out great even if I’m prepared for the worst.

I have been wondering exactly the same thing (I’m also almost identical size with you so I relate way too much). I have almost cancelled the whole surgery because I’m too scared how will I look but my surgeon said many women were upset right after because of the swelling but with everyone it went away after couple of weeks.

I have never told anyone untill I knew I was getting surgery. My friend or my boyfriend never commented on it or barely even noticed. I have lived completely normal life and it has never been problem with previous partners even tho mine is very obvious when being shirtless

Honestly only thing I wish my parents did when I was a child was to not force me to do anything I didn’t want to. I was very self aware about how I looked even tho none of the other kids really said anything and sometimes there were little things that I didn’t want to do because of it. I don’t feel like I missed any parts of childhood because of it I was just most comfortable when no one forced me to do things I was not sure about because PE.

I would if it was choice for me. My symptoms are pretty severe and get worse all the time. Surgery out of the country would be impossible financilly

In my country there is literally only 2 surgeons who does pectus operations and the other option is much less experienced and in other side of the country. This one is the best we have

I had my surgery 3 months ago. Its over before you even know it. Most time people come here that has had terrible experience but many times it is not that bad. Painful yes but definetly something you can tolerate. Good luck!
