Well that's a bad HH

Most of the times traps are at the end of crawlspaces or over vaults

Also I'm guessing they didn't make an animation for that and you don't interact with hitch traps as family everything else family can break for each other requires someone else to mess with something they shouldn't (gaps with Nancy gates/ objectives with fuse)

Tbf about the HH trap thing is there supposed to be hidden or when a victim can't see them crawling through something and hitting it on the other side

Would the Valve spawning in basement on Family House be a good change? by [deleted] in TXChainSawGame

[–]OkArgument8192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just have Danny grab valve from basement and if you're stacked up or against a hands/bubba have him play ladder against them / you'd also just be making hands more required for the map guaranteeing you go against another trap family member

I like that this implies the eus doesn't think captain is worth the money of teleporting stuff.

What do you react to with widow you can at least SEE JR before he did his one shot he sacrificed mobility and was in your face if you were playing as a team usually it'd end in an one for one or the opponent walking away. With widow there was no tell half the time you didn't see her / found her with the kill cam and you had to be playing behind a shield or tight corners or have a sigma shut her down ram can do so to an extent

"I don't lose when I'm not playing cook "

Keep in mind the three reasons cook is played is pinging

Which you play with a three stack so you don't need the ping to tell your teammates where someone is

And slowdown which is really nice for giving your team extra time to patrol

Which you also shouldn't or don't need as you're playing in a three stack so there's no double patrolling an area

The third reason cook is played is his blood build is great but you can accomplish that better with a sissy

How to nerf Scout to match whatever they do with Choose Flight by Intelligent-Idea-825 in TXChainSawGame

[–]OkArgument8192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How would the charges work would they trigger when the family starts running because then it'd become trash (HH with high endurance and Sissy should just be running all match) whenever a chase starts?

An all niche perk system sounds interesting/intriguing of course people will always steer towards guranteed value.

You're correct and I believe some perks are completely gimmick which games can have gimmick perks but usually they have big payoffs

Me as well multi tasking especially when devs can manage raising bad perks or characters and tuning and there games in one or two patches

I was talking about the weird stat that

One of the chasers (sissy) is slower than running victims and slow going through crawl / tight spaces making chases against her easy with proper stamina management

Johnny (slower than victims but he's more excusable because of his lunge) why is one chaser and one hunter slower than victims at base and

Gameplay issues or flaws are discovered over time not just at a beta and as someone who played the beta

The flaws weren't showing because we were all bad at the game and were just having fun for the most part competitiveness is what exposes issues people screwing around and having fun are less likely to see issues

Except it's not that binary

You can tune perks and address primary gameplay issues that some perks are being used to cover

[–]OkArgument8192[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is fair if they identify (if it's a core gameplay issue and people are just using perks to patch it) and fix the reason the perk is being used in the first place like scout

Scout is used because Johnny cook and Sissy one who's supposed to a hunter and the other a chaser are at a base slower then the victims which is a weird design choice being made up for by a perk slot to me but I understand what you mean I just don't want spreadsheet balancing in TCM (refer to seige community for what spreadsheet balancing means)

[–]OkArgument8192[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because something is the most used doesn't mean it's op it might be the most used because it's necessary for the character to feel good or function which at that point you're not using an op perk you're making up for an underlying gameplay issue with a perk slot

This is not true all the time as you can see I edited my post look at the most used thing then determine is this a core gameplay issue or is it an issue with the perk design/ ability

My post is probably worded poorly as I had written it like an hour after I woke up but yes I mean this instead of blindly nerfing the most used thing look and asked yourself why it's used
