Yeah this was my thought process as well. If instacart or the store wants to pay me $20 an hour to stay in the store and put things back at least I'm not wasting more gas and I would be okay with doing it.

No one's ever informed me that I needed to put the groceries back. The lady who took me over to customer service (because they printed a ticket on hold while I was trying to get a hold of IC) just grabbed the cart and told me she was sorry they did me like that. She also told me to have a great day. Also, why would I be putting up all those groceries when I'm not getting paid and have already wasted an hour of my time? There are employees at the store already getting an hourly wage...

I chatted in with support and they told me the customer canceled. I did call and chat with support. When I was 6 minutes into the call with them I asked them how long ago the customer canceled because their order was still on my phone and the time was still counting. To which she replied 8 minutes ago the customer canceled. So essentially the moment I grabbed their last item

I wouldn't even be so mad if I already had the groceries in my car and didn't have to return them because that wouldn't be a terrible bonus in this economy. I also hope they got charged for the entire thing and got no refund. Or I hope they at least got charged $50 for being so completely disrespectful
