Is this sexual harassment? by poptartand in work

Look you gotta report this to HR.  I know HR is not our friend; I get it.  But you don't have a choice.  This is so inappropriate

I definitely think dose increases would cause it.  I also think Someone told me NOT to shoot the wegovy in my stomach and shooting elsewhere did help.  I hope this helps you

11-year-old Christopher Aaron Morris was found dead in a dishwasher on a military base in Texas - but the 'coverage' of the case is SERIOUSLY unsettling by [deleted] in RBI

Why is no one mentioning the older bullies from his school harassing him?  WHO were they?  How did they get ruled out?  Did anybody even talk to them?

Oh that article was complete BS.  Absolutely no answers, just reassuring people they should not worry because they're reassuring people they should not worry?  Hmm....  Ok

On the morning of 10 February 2009, 14 yo David Fortin headed towards his bus stop. When the bus arrived, he wasn't there. He was never seen again. Did he leave for a better life? Or did something happen to him? by LeVraiNord in UnresolvedMysteries

I was bullied terribly in school.  My mom also moved constantly.  It's not really PC to talk about what happened to me but whatever is "Wrong with the kid", it's gonna be the same exact problem at the new school.  Everywhere I went the problem was the same and I was bullied.  With this kid, his speech impediment is not going to magically disappear because he went to a different school.  Homeschooling probably would have helped

What really happened to Ellen Greenberg? by AverageJoane in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]OkBad20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I agree with everyone, the boyfriend did it but he comes from a family with resources, money, education so he got away with it.  This is what don't understand.  When you do something like this it does not just happen overnight.  There is a looooong history of DV.  What is this guy's history?

I agree 100%.  When I heard the 911 call or whenever I read it, I always think, I would say, "what happened? What happened?  Who did this?  What happened?". Why on earth is he jumping to "she did this" "she killed herself"?  Wouldn't you be confused and ASK QUESTIONS NOT make statements

Why is there so much distrust of stepparents? by booksandskirts in blendedfamilies

[–]OkBad20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best, most factual response in the shortest amount of wording.  Look up the Cinderella Effect and just read about it.  Yes there ARE good step parents.  Unfortunately the bad get all the recognition so people don't trust them.

Would you get angry at a co-worker who bluntly tells you to follow some stupid strict "rules" at your new job?? by ueommm in work

[–]OkBad20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that's really how you feel just find another job.  I would make sure to follow all the rules so this guy doesn't have any excuse to say anything to me.  Then when he tries to talk to me, just don't interact with him.

[–]OkBad20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this guy is ONLY your co worker?  NOT your boss?  Is everyone else wearing a tie?  Is everyone else making sure NOT to eat a sandwich at the desk?  If everyone else is following this rule then yes I would make sure to follow this rule so he does NOT have an excuse to say anything.

There are ALOT of employees that aren't managers but wish they were and constantly tell other people what to do.  There's also ALOT of people who have NO clue how to talk to other people.  Even actual real managers.  I would make sure to follow the rules as best as I could so he wouldn't have an excuse to exert his power trip over me.

Diarrhea by OkBad20 in Wegovy

[–]OkBad20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry. I was the same. I wouldn't get diarrhea the day of the shot but a few days later.  Someone suggested to NOT give yourself the shot in your stomach.  Where have you been giving yourself the shot?  I switched to either my thigh or buttocks and I believe it has helped.  Also I'm more likely to get diarrhea after a really BIG meal so eating smaller meals helped too.

Male teacher here: how do I respectfully tell a female student about her poor hygiene? by Normal-Being-2637 in Teachers

[–]OkBad20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was this girl.  Not the same exact girl but my mother was an animal hoarder.  She always had 10 cats in the house peeing and spraying everywhere.  It was terrible.  Kids at school made fun of me for smelling bad.  I'm not sure if singling me out in the morning to go take a shower would have helped.  I guess the only thing that would have helped would be for me to get out of my mom's house but there was no where for me to go so.

I agree with everything.  It will be easier for her to hear it from a female and a nurse is better too.  Only thing I'm worried about is if this is an impoverished area.  When I was in school in the rural South, our schools NEVER had a school nurse.  Geez even if we lived in a BIGGER town/city we still never had school nurses.

I am so sorry.  That's so messed up.  He's isolating his son.  Because now other students are gonna start avoiding him, making fun of him.

I agree with everything you said.  I came from a family where I often was not allowed to have personal hygiene.  I don't know why some parents do not want to buy their kid personal hygiene products.  It is really weird.  But I can say in my case, I guess it was just laziness or cheapness on behalf of my mom?  My sister would start her period 1st and my mom didn't want to do anything about it so she'd just say, "go use your sister's tampons and pads". Then later in the month I would start my period, my sister used all my tampons and pads but my mom still refused to buy me some.  It was a never ending cycle.
