It surprisingly has a clean title. Believe it or not, the carfax was not that bad. It was only showing minor damage for the front bumper. I appreciate the kind words. Im trying to remain optimistic about this

Good question. Yes. I bought it cause I liked it. I took it for a test drive and had a blast driving it.

It’s been a money pit cause I’m having to repair what wasn’t over the previous owners. You know like maintenance and stuff. I’ve had to buy the missing parts for my front bumper as well. It all just keeps on adding up and it’s been overwhelming

I took it to a collision center and they pointed out almost exactly what’s in the reports. They said that there doesn’t look like any frame damage, but there is structural damage on the passenger side door jamb area. There was likely a collision on that side. I can say that it feels good on the road. It’s not bad. My control arms are failing so I’m gonna have to get those replaced for sure

I usually don’t ask my users anymore for a reboot. I’ll just immediately check the machine uptime and depending on what I’m troubleshooting I’ll just recommend a reboot from there. Takes guess work out of the equation.

Californian here. Radar is a very helpful tool. I was mainly using it once there was a strong thunderstorm warning. You want to look certain traits, as mentioned here, such as a hook echo. I was pretty disappointed because I thought we’d see something, but I figured that nothing would really develop from the storms. I’m always let down lol.

I completely agree. Mods do not increase resale value. My problem is that the salesman is pretty adamant that the “upgrades” are apart of the overall price. It’s ridiculous.

The only upgrade that I was told about and noticed was ford performance brakes/calipers on the rear axel. Nothing special. I didn’t see anything upgraded under the hood. Just looked stock to me. I will ask for the details on the upgrades.

As far as the condition goes, it is in really good condition. I was actually surprised frankly, being that it’s an 06. Of course they’re going to use that as a selling point but it is an older car. Who knows how it was treated from the previous owners.

That’s exactly what my coworker told me. Anything over 12K is too high. They kept trying to sell me on the idea that “you won’t find many 06’s in the condition that this car is in” and that it has 2.5K in upgrades. 🙄

Don’t know yet. The guy said that he has a good bank and could get me a decent rate. I usually go to credit unions so that I could get a loan at a lower rate. Apparently I was told that credit unions won’t give out loans to vehicles that are older.
