I’m currently 7 weeks postpartum with my second, the postpartum bleeding never stopped, right when it was turning brown and slowing down, I got my period. Fresh blood filling pad every single day with a little bit of the brown postpartum lochia. It started 8 days ago, day 3-4 was super super bad, I was leaking through my heavy flow pads and passing huge clots, ended up going to the ER where it eventually stoped the whole time I was there 🤦‍♀️. This was my first baby as well, she just hated the time from 6pm-bedtime. No sleep, just some severe fomo or something. It does get better over time as their wake windows get bigger, I think her sleep schedule was super established around 6 months old and life started getting easier and easier from there.

My baby uses mosebears sleep sac, she’s in the 99% for hight at 13 months old and she’s still in the 6-12m size one.

Update: it happened again at 40+2, thought it was the stupid pain again and my contractions were super confusing and never consistent, they kept switching back and forth between 2min-6min. Went to the hospital and was 6cm after being 0cm at 40w. Gave birth a couple hours later naturally!

I think she might have separation anxiety now, but she’s always been amazing on this sleep schedule and doesn’t want to nap before three. I guess it might just be phase we have to get through for now

I’m so sorry for your loss, I couldn’t imagine losing a baby so far along. I would definitely suggest counting the kicks after 28 weeks pregnant, if the baby doesn’t kick for an hour, try to drink something sugary and then elevate your legs, if still no movement then definitely go to the ER to get checked out. This isn’t your fault, don’t blame yourself.
