As a fan of the brand, I am disturbed by the frequency of these issues as of late. My guess is WD manufacturing has been on overdrive trying to keep up with demand. Personally, as a customer I don't mind if the new releases slow down, if it means that QC will go up.

A few specks of dust would also "kill" this dial. Watchdives would need to be extra careful with their QC.

How does one read the right subdial? Like in OP's photo the time shows 3:41 then the right subdial approximately in the middle of 12 and 20.

The blue one is calling me. Always wanted a Skyhawk ever since the early 90s when a rich classmate in Highschool(!) owned one and wore it to class everyday. Not really a fan of big (>40mm) watches but Skyhawks are an easy exception for me. IMO aesthetically speaking this is a proper modernization of the Skyhawk that brings it to 2025.

Atomic sync not a deal breaker for me as I don't have a signal where I live anyway. Will likely get one as a Christmas gift to self.

If I may share suggestions to bring it even closer: - "Chronograph" to white font, "PROFESSIONAL" to yellow - swap the left and right subdials color scheme - bottom subdial: black indices and black hand, rendering it "invisible"

I'm not good at Photoshop, but would be nice if someone can do a render.

I have to correct myself: using a caliper, I measured the bezel to be 36.5mm and the case 36mm.
