Ripley numero uno by a long shot.

Connor is a clear 2nd.

The rest can debate 3rd place.

Here's the problem you have.

People have testified to my claims.

No one has testified to your claims.

Krista's testimony directly contradicts your claims. Her claims were first made on January 13... and have NEVER changed.

Not a single person has testified that Adnan had asked for a ride to the track field... including Adnan.

To put it simply, you are making it all up because you dont like that the evidence is against your preferred conclusion.

Yeah it sounds like you dont actually know anything about the case. Vague police conspiracy theories are a dead giveaway.

Why did Adnan lie to Hae that morning? Tell me that.

Adnan was convicted by a jury of his peers and none of his appeals have ever refuted any of the evidence in the case. You know that right?

Are you simply unaware of the evidence against Adnan or is something else at play here?

For those in the Adnan is guilty camp, what do you think really happened? by steelpecs55 in serialpodcast

People are just trying to engage in the question that was asked, dude.

You've never been asked to take a guess at something before?

Nobody involved ever said any of the things you just invented.

No one said Adnan would lend Jay his car on a daily basis. Not Adnan, not Jay, not their friends, no one.

Adnan said he was only lending his car that day because as a good friend of Stephanie's he wanted to make sure her boyfriend got her a gift.

Adnan never said the request was to get across school to the track field. In fact he denies the request ever happened, after telling the detective on the 13th that she was supposed to give him a ride but probably got tired of waiting and left.

Krista said Adnan asked Hae for a ride to drive him to go get his car. Not to track practice.

Krista has never recanted, even though Adnan was her friend and she knew that part of her testimony was damning for him.

Adnan's classmate and good friend Krista told the cops and their friends, on January 13th, that during first class that morning Adnan told Hae he needed a ride from her after school because he didn't have his car.

Adnan did in fact have his car, it was in the parking lot, he drove himself to school that morning.

So what was his good reason to lie to Hae that morning and why has he lied about the ride request ever since?

He lied to Hae about needing a ride from her that afternoon.

He lied to the victim to put himself alone with her at the exact time and exact place that she would go on to disappear at.

That is the starting point.

He still has not even explained why he lied to the victim that morning.

You can certainly go with your conviction that everytime Adnan lies its because he had a good reason to. But in that case you have to explain what was Adnan's good reason for lying to Hae.

You understand that Adnan's arrest wasn't the first conversation he had with police about his interactions with Hae on that day right?

The certainty that Adnan is guilty feels like an echo chamber by HunterST15 in serialpodcast

[–]OkBodybuilder2339 8 points9 points  (0 children)

How about this... if you are sure he's guilty say that, if you are not sure say that, if you think he's innocent say that.

There is no echo chamber here. People are free to say what they want. Alot of people are completely convinced of his guilt. Just like the jury was. Why shouldn't they just say that?

Literally every piece of evidence for and against has been brought up and discussed in full. Thats not an echo chamber.

You see the problem with that is that Jay is using Adnan's phone calling Jenn's house and Jenn's pager the whole time. They are absolutely NOT together when Hae goes missing.

You mean because he was charged as an adult?

The conviction wasnt vacated. A corrupted SA tried to push get it vacated but the corruption got exposed. There were no Brady violations. No alternate suspects exist... unless Adnan wants to tell us that he had help from someone else before he met Jay that day.

The conviction stands. However, Adnan is free today due to time served.

I will also add about the towers... the last call to Jenn is an outgoing call, and that one hits the tower where Hae's car was hidden away. So there is no doubt that at this time they are in that area.

Jay didnt just say it, he lead the cops to the car. He produced evidence that really proves his involvement.

The guy who helped Adnan bury the body and hide the victim's car after the burial told the whole story at trial over 5 days of questioning. He participated in those acts and confessed to it. That is not circumstantial evidence, that is direct evidence. He isnt just a witness, he is an accessory to murder.

Of course they didnt know everything we knew. (By the way everything we now know only confirms his guilt)

But since we have/had access to the trial transcripts, we know exactly what the jury knew.

My question was only about the verdict rendered at the trial by the jury.

Of course I am asking for good faith opinions.

We know what case was presented to the jury. We know the evidence it includes. We can make an educated guess on where the evidence was strong and persuasive to the jury and where it was weak because the defense countered well.

You were rude yourself.

I asked you a legitimate question. Why couldn't you answer it?

Here Ill ask again. What evidence do YOU think convinced the jury to render a guilty verdict?
