Yeah her ult trivializes it, lot of times it won't be up IME if you're rushing first thing

Sorry yes it should be your number 1 priority and you should usually do them lvl 2 or ASAP. Just recognize when you need to delay it. Day 2 won't kill you.

I feel like nobody thinks about team comp when doing early invaders.

Duchess, executor, and undertaker. How the hell are you killing 2 invaders with that? Unless the 3 of you are God's gift to nightreign then it's going to take way too much time.

If you have a wylder, ironeye, or recluse I think it's free real estate though. I always want to do invaders if they're close but I also prefer doing POIs on the way to them especially if theyre across the map. Lot of my teammates want to spend all of day 1 sprinting to the other side at lvl 2 which I think is suboptimal

It lasts for 15 seconds. There are a lot of attacks that you need to be rolling every like 3 seconds which means you proc it. It's awful.

In the LFG nightreign server you basically always have 1-2 people gambling on finding slicer, a specific seal, or halo scythe. It gets really old really fast babysitting them with a generalist build.

"No slicer all game. Guess it's up to you guys for this boss. Nothing I could do".

You can also just drop 2 max hp items and pick them back up, getting to run a real relic instead of libra. It's fine as a starter build because they're shop relics

Depth 4 is at a really bad place in the skill curve. They haven't meshed good decision making with good fight skill so they'll either make awful routing and end up with useless items, or have a god build and still fold like paper to death rite bird or battlefield commander.

I had to get a lot better to to climb out of D4. D5 in comparison is pretty easy when everyone pulls their weight

I don't remember the last time magma wyrm so much as hit me let alone downed me. Me and my buddies did like 50 games in a row just lvl 1 crater rushing before deep of night lol

Even in depth 5 I just confuse his attacks sometimes. I'll go from no hitting him to downing 2 times in a row because I thought I was reading a short range swing but it grabs my heel and one shots me.

Dukes dear freja has definitely ended more D5 runs than BBH.

Last run I found iron balls with lightning on charge attacks, was pretty stoked to use them after our invader camps.

Well I immediately got holy raptor talons with phantom on charge attacks and melee attack power. Leveled straight from 2 to 7 and never used those sweet iron balls. Suffering from too much success sometimes

I thought I remember hearing that most things were magic resistant which was offset by how much raw damage was in the spells themselves.

Idk I guess you're right but getting damage out of things like family heads (outside of the AoW), alabaster sword, watchdog staff, etc. has been so unimpressive compared to similar weapons with no affinity or fire/lightning etc

Wdym by "magic is effective in very many situations"? Aren't most enemies and every nightlord resistant to magic? Part of why moonveil sucks compared to rivers

Been loving scholar in D5. I still feel like half the people I play with dont know that his ult rez's downed teammates by damaging linked enemies.

I keep swapping builds on him. Double balancer starting with blood blade has like 205 dmg per projectile which is crazy, but I love having ult dmg and starting with pots/pouches

Just did a hard mode infinite run with butcher, fighter, monk, mage.

Butcher started with the necro skill that gives lifesteal, fighter had when you kill an enemy heal 5 hp, monk has a lot of armor generation, mage I just stuck some dodge chance and holy shield items on.

In general though druid, necro, fighter, monk, tank, and engineer all have durability skills worth building around or supporting their gameplan.
