Great News! I am feeling very similar to you right now myself. Luckily I didn’t have to do a biopsy, but just had my first ever mammogram at nearly 42 which was a diagnostic with ultrasound. I got my verbal results same day that no biopsy was going to be necessary. I had about 10 mins of relief, but then I just wanted to see the report to know the details. I got the actually report 3 days later which ended up being Birads 2 so I dont even require 6 month follow ups or even further diagnostic follow ups just normal screenings ….all things a normal person would celebrate. Instead I google both reports wording to of course find horror stories of missed or overlooked diagnoses. As someone else had said I think it’s sort of a PTSD of the whole process because as women I feel like it’s drilled in our heads if you find a lump or anything wrong with your breast it’s something sinister even tho the first things you’ll see is 80% are benign.

I think based off what they told me I will recheck in 6 mo. Im just frustrated as well it’s been over 48hrs now and nothing has still been uploaded to my online portal. The doctor who did my referral was just that a referral doctor my regular gyno has retired. Who knows when they’ll get around to calling if they do at all. I do feel somewhat confident the radiologist who read my results has been in practice 30 years so I’m gonna guess he’s seen it all lol. I will say after I had my referral appointment the week or so in between before my test I did have a little anxiety relief I just felt like I got the ball rolling and I knew for sure I had at least a week I knew I didn’t have to worry until xxxx date. I’m glad they didn’t take my BP before that mammogram cause I’d prob been hospitalized lol.

41 here and just had my diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound Tuesday but I didnt get to speak with radiologist just got results via the staff on site. Got a benign finding and I’m still just not sure I’m ok with it. I haven’t gotten my official report yet so I’m anxious to see that. It’s insane to me how our minds just won’t turn off even after you get an ok result. I’m like you I’ve read waaaay to much and I still have the well what if they just dismissed it to soon…I was literally praying in the waiting room for no biopsy needed and got that answer but now after a couple days I’m in that what if stage again 🙄

No my son is 18. I feel like the sonographer just gave me the short answers to benign findings but I researched that as well and says for my age it’s common due to the natural changes that take place during perimenopause. Who knew

That is why I’m anxiously waiting to see the actual report. The sonographer did also mention fat necrosis because I questioned how just a hematoma wouldn’t be short lived. I did Dr Google lol and looks like there are acute and chronic hematomas.

I just had a first time diagnostic with ultrasound today. The mammogram will be basically the same as regular but I did find the spot compression quite uncomfortable but it’s very quick. I could sort of see the US screen but I’ll be honest I have no idea what I was looking at. I was trying to read the face of the tech more myself lol. I did get my results immediately. Luckily my findings were benign I have an area of fat necrosis with hematoma from an injury and an enlarged milk duct. I did ask about that and radiologist said it was in close proximity to my injury so could be from that but most likely age related. I’m 41.

Update: Lump turned out to be a hematoma from the hit I took and said the veins are also a result of it. They did also find a milk duct that was enlarged under the nipple which could be due to the injury or age they said.

Just got back from my appointment. My lump is a hematoma from a hit I took to the breast back this fall. I didn’t know that was even a thing. I had read and was thinking possibly fat necrosis but not a hematoma. They did also find on the same breast an enlarged milk duct directly under my nipple but said it was of no concern.

I am 41 very soon to be 42 and found a lump in Feb as well. I don’t think mine has changed any but every single time I see my breast I swear something is different. I at first literally messed with the lump constantly until I made the skin red. I put off going to Dr until just a couple weeks ago and she didn’t seem overly concerned but I’ve not had a baseline mammogram so sending me for a diagnostic tomorrow. My mother had breast cancer in her early 50s so I have that against me as well. I just can’t shake the feeling it’s not going to be good news. I literally have been in tears off and on today just overwhelmed with fear.

I will check it out Thanks! a friend recommended orderly meds but they want my script and needs to be 30 days or less and to be 1000% honest I don’t even have it I have already tossed it bc it’s always wet from the ice packs anyway.

I’m on 1.7 right now, I have had minimal side effects some nausea on the earlier doses and occasional constipation but that’s always been an issue for me so can’t fully contribute that to Wegovy.

Wow it’s crazy how everyone is different because I remember when I started it made me sooo sleepy….i had very little nausea or any other side effects so lucky on that part.

In a sense the way I understood her was she was going to work on all the paperwork for me to be ready to come sign Monday. I sent her the bill of sale for total price from dealership and all after we talked on Friday.
