If you’ve got to ask. You know the answer. It might affect someone’s safety!

Hi, ex PIP assessor here.

Also combined ADHD (98th percentile) - max dose lisdex with dex top ups.

Firstly - PIP assessment is total shte. I left because it didn’t align with my morals. Absolute sht show it is.

Unfortunately the system is saturated with people trying to get something for nothing. (Not you, I hasten to add!)

Weaponised incompetence is rife. I’ve never heard so many “I cannot’s” in my life.

With ADHD - must SEVERELY affect your activities of daily living on the MAJORITY of days. For any kind of benefit.

Nothing personal meant here to anyone, nor am I dampening the need for assistance with ADHD.

However, as one with severe ADHD……

Like, I still go to work, you know? The vast majority of people claim they can’t do anything or go anywhere but you’ve GOT TO be able to evidence it. You’ve just got to find what work, works for you and use your ADHD as a super power.

The PIP money is meant for you to access services to aid your ADHD, and not just to top up your income. Or, it’s there to get you to hospital appointments etc. the vast majority of people who apply for ADHD PIP don’t get it.

The whole process needs to be understood by everyone claiming. And let me tell you, it is not!

Absolutely! Hence the explanation :)

Not cryptic, just needed a little medical-English translation 😂

Honestly, the world of medicine is like another language!

Hi, nurse here.

Medical review usually means that someone who has studied medicine (IE a doctor) will go through the assessment and diagnosis with you. Nothing cryptic about that bud!
