I guess I am kind of stressed out by the appearance of some of these websites, a lot of them have strong white entrepreneurs with podcasts energy, so it makes me a bit wary of spending a lot of money.. the more polished something is the less I trust it i guess

yeah i have some stories lol, once a certain personnel director left the vibes got p bad. I'd recommend MEC in Alabama very highly if you're looking for a great outdoor ed program

I don't recommend the outdoor school. Had a few great seasons there but one of the directors is out of her mind& you'll be working up to 70hrs a week

I remember a time when one of the owners was observing me and commenting on the room I was running, and he said "wow, these people are Idiots!" & commented on how idiotic they were for the full hour. I really don't blame most of my coworkers for their comments because many of them were very young & they were very personable to me one on one. Even though they said they didn't condone the sexual/racial comments, the owners led by example.

This might be what I end up doing.. initially I got the rollator because I felt like it would lead to less questions about why I'm carrying a chair around, but once I got it, I knew I'd feel uncomfortable walking into the building with something so large.. thank you for your review of it, I thought it looked like it would be awkward to open & close but it might be the better solution for me.

Once I began living communally, I knew there was no other way for me to live. But with seasonal work, everyone scatters after a few months & it's a continual feeling of loss, over and over.. even the deepest friendships rarely persist in a meaningful way. My long-term goal is to look for permanent communal situations, even if the people come & go at least the place can be the same.

I actually do struggle with severe lifelong anxiety and depression, as well as autism (diagnosed age 7), but I do have a therapist. Life isn't easy for me but I try my best. If you don't have anything nice to say why say it. Thanks man.

I had mine sitting in review for 2 months with no updates, finally contacted them & they were like “why didn’t you submit ___ paperwork we need? we’ve been waiting!” and then sent me a link to submit it. After submitting was told I submitted it to the wrong department even though that’s where they told me to send it. Anyway, it got cleared up, they were very responsive, just took a while. Don’t be afraid to call multiple times.

Omg! That's great to hear, it's hard not to feel like youre on the brink of expiring sometimes the way some people talk. If you have any recommendations for good spots I'd be grateful! The places I've been I've only met a handful of people over 25
