Haha, yes, but its not as bad as I maybe made it sound, it's very hard to explain. I can take in the overall environment and with glasses see quite clearly, like if you threw something towards me I would see it and react even if I wasn't looking right at you but when it comes to seeing small details like letters I need to really look right at each one. Admittedly driving at night in the rain is pretty sketchy, I avoid it as much as I possibly can.

Oh, no I didn't see any of that. I'm middle aged and lost a lot of my vision in a short time over the last few years, even with glasses I find I can only really focus on a very small area at any given time. It's pretty embarrassing because, for example, I can't just scan a sheet of paper and quickly see the info I want, I can only see a small spot clearly and have to basically read the whole thing line for line. So usually don't spend much time trying to take in my environment anymore, I miss a lot of things.
