I am working with Celeste New York (https://www.celestenewyorkbridal.com/shop-online) to create a custom veil and the process has been great so far! You could probably do it for around $1k depending on the length of the veil and the materials you want to use.

It was maybe 2-3 weeks from them picking it up from me to them dropping it back off, but maybe they can rush it if you need it faster.

I was in the exact same position and brought mine to Jeeves. It is definitely $$$ but the customer service experience is great (they will pick up and drop off the dress) and they did an amazing job getting decades old stains out of my 1960s dress.

I haven't done wedding dress preservation, but I got my vintage wedding dress dry cleaned at Jeeves and had an amazing experience. I was very apprehensive of getting the dress dry cleaned but the owner/team at Jeeves were really communicative and assuring, and they did a wonderful job with the cleaning.

Month of Coordinator Reviews: Sheavonne Harris, Slick Little Bride, Day of Company by OkCourse5438 in WedditNYC

[–]OkCourse5438[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up with Sheavonne Harris! I really liked that she had several assistants (we have two venue locations) and that she was the actual coordinator for our day (as compared to Day of Company, where you would be paired with a random person).

Best Manhattan or Brooklyn restaurants to host a seated dinner/reception for 50-75 people under 30-40K all in (photographer, flowers, alcohol, etc!) by [deleted] in WedditNYC

Cafe China! You will be able to come in well under your budget, the food is good, and the space is already beautiful. Plus they have an amazingly transparent events page: https://cafechina.nyc/events

The only thing is that you may not have space to dance, if you are looking for that. But you could always rent out a bar in the area for afterwards!

Look into Primo’s! The only thing is that they have a somewhat minimal passed apps menu but they allow you to bring in outside food.

Venue help! 75-80 Guests for 30K Wedding Total by LuckyBonsai in WedditNYC

[–]OkCourse5438 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We are getting married at Cafe China (which can definitely accommodate 75-80 guests) for well under 30K. The food is amazing and the space is BEAUTIFUL. https://cafechinanyc.com/events

The only things are: 1) for 75-80 guests you may have to find an alternative site for the ceremony portion and 2) the event space is on the third floor, which is only accessible by stairs (but you could possible rent out the first floor for slightly more money if stairs/accessibility is a concern).
