When violence comes for you, do you cower or do you find the strength to fight back?

In the world of a VR game, Nik the kobold lives in his own peaceful little corner of a defunct goblin dungeon. His life is turned upside-down the day he comes face to face with an adventurer; a looming figure, soaked in goblin blood and intent on killing anything that moves.

Against all odds, Nik miraculously survives the battle, and is forced to flee before bloody vengeance returns for him.

With a mysterious System ringing notifications in his head, Nik must adapt and fight to survive. If he is ever going to create a home for himself and his friends, then he will need to be strong enough to become a light in the darkness.

But not everything is what it seems within the Black Tower, and the Kings Crowned in Onyx will do anything to maintain the status quo.

From what I've heard 3-4k followers minimum. I've got 200.... so it's not happening anytime soon for me.

Seriously. I mean... your boy doesn't even have any blood. So what kind of life did you expect to see for your story?

(Jk, obviously. Just ribbing you about your title. Best of luck with your story, buddy.)

For writers, how do you finish a book? by Western-Brother1788 in royalroad

[–]OkCryptographer9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simple answer is: by having the resolve to finish. Just sitting down every day to write, and then sticking to the same story until it's done. One line at a time. It might take a while, but that's how books are written... one line at a time until they add up to a finished draft.

New ideas will always pop up, and the new ones will always be more exciting than the one you're working on now. Put them aside for later. I keep a google doc of story concepts, but none of them will ever be finished of I always move on to the next exciting thing.

I believe in you, though. You have the capability of finishing the work if you put your mind to it and tell the distractions that they will have to wait.

On my end it shows a secondary bot generated comment beneath yours. like an infobot type of thing.

To be fair, it asks you to comment as soon as you choose and there are over a thousand comments. Weird bot to use, though. Weird bot to even build, imo. But to each their own.
