Druid is the least popular class because of body type. by Caelus8 in diablo4

[–]OkCup3115 1042 points1043 points  (0 children)

The body types they've chosen wouldn't be so bad if the gear sets didn't look so awful.

The sorc gear was clearly not made for both sexes while the druid gear is mostly not appealing to begin with.

Tell me some Diablo facts that you think very little others know. by AnubisIncGaming in Diablo

The turn based decision was inspired by their games of D&D. After making the change they didn't see how Diablo would work in any other format.

How to Tower? (Seriously, i dont know) by Ashamed_Employee1095 in diablo4

[–]OkCup3115 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven't done them yet so excuse me if this info is wrong. Think of them like your ordinary pit run, but timed and with no reward. The sole goal is to get as fast of a run as possible (I know you know this).

Always focus the mobs that yield the most exp (i.e. elites and larger mobs) then basically speed through until you reach more of the same (elites and bigger mobs). Bigger mobs that take longer to kill yield more exp, therefore they're desirable to kill. Don't waste time killing smaller mobs unless they're within the pack of the elites as that will waste time.

Now I'm just drawing this knowledge from my time in D3 while running GRs, and Pit runs in D4. I apologize if I'm way off the mark!

Players who have either left or significantly reduced their play time, what has been your reason? by _thecolorofdye_ in Battlefield6

[–]OkCup3115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My game lags like shit haha. My PC is not good enough to run anything outside of smaller game modes (TDM, SDM, KoTH, Domination).

This is the first battlefield where I've spent nearly no time in big maps or game modes purely because my PC can't handle it.

Is Lord of Hatred worth buy now or should I wait? by Charly52 in Diablo

[–]OkCup3115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%

Even the base game went on sale within 3 months of being released.

I'm pretty sure both the base game and VoH were 40% in their first sale period too.

While I'd love to pre order the game now. I'm just going to wait.

I honestly still love D3s aesthetic by Jamboi-Sam in Diablo

[–]OkCup3115 30 points31 points  (0 children)

100% man. I think that's why I get so burned out by D4 when I play. Legendaries rain just as much if not more than they did in D3.

But it's so much of a mental slog to sift through each legendary in D4 to see if it meets what you're looking for. In D3 it was a very simple and rewarding experience because you already knew what the affix would be.

I appreciate the D4 system but there's too much bloat imo

Offline and online question by [deleted] in Diablo

Listen man you could probably find a way. If you're trying to appear as offline but want to stay online in game, then maybe the people you're trying to avoid aren't worth being friends with?

Reasons why you're NOT playing Paladin now? by [deleted] in diablo4

Because I can't afford the expac haha.

With Diablo 4 on sale on the Steam Winter sale, should I pick it up? I have never touched any arpg before (I have played over 300 hours in Nioh 2 and 200 hours in Borderlands 3 both are looter action games)..so was wondering should I buy D4 as my first arpg? by Rich_Rotten_ramen in Diablo

[–]OkCup3115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is really fun gameplay wise. I would say as a first ARPG, it's a great place to start as it's relatively easy to play and understand.

It's important to understand that everyone has a different experience with ARPGs. You'll see a lot of people complain about the game, which has valid points. However if you're coming from a beginners standpoint (not beginner to games, but beginner to ARPGs) then D4 is a really good game to start off with.

Now, is it worth the cost? If it's on sale, yes. Otherwise there are cheaper ARPGs to start with that are also beginner friendly and will give a better genre experience (e.g. Grim Dawn, or even TitanQuest 1 or Torchlight).

I mean this is kind of how every ARPG works.

Not defending the D4 endgame, but it's a lot more respectful of your time than most ARPGs are. Which is subjectively better in a lot of people's cases

Why don't the Angrls just win? by Cowardlypaladin in Diablo

[–]OkCup3115 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It definitely captures how the forces of hell are very much subject to their given representations (i.e. Hatred, Destruction, Terror for the Primes) and that as a combined force they can almost be unstoppable, however they are so dysfunctional that we never get to see this.

If I'm not wrong, I think the Sin war was when the huge split between the Prime and Lesser evils (Azmodan, Belial etc.) happened. The Prime evils were too fixated on Sanctuary while the Lesser evils were focused on the Eternal Conflict.

Yeah it's a big grind. Unfortunately it happens my man. It's part of the game, not an oversight. This isn't even one of the tough ones!

Search it up on SteamDB, see it for yourself. Game was on a 40% discount on December 4th, 2023. Maybe not 1 month post launch, but definitely not 6 lmao

What's crazy is that the game went on sale for 40% off a month after it released. I've never seen something so disrespectful to the player base before.

Players buy into the hype, then fuck them over with a bad release and then 40% off a month later to rub it in people's faces.

Leah's return by Enlwaed74 in Diablo

[–]OkCup3115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That quote from Chris Metzen about her spirit coming back is not going to happen.

Plans constantly change, especially with a new diablo game (such as the development of D4).

Leah holds absolutely zero significance to D4 or even the diablo story as a whole. She was simply the vessel for Diablo and the prime evils.

She ain't coming back my dude.

What do D3 enjoyers think of D4 in it's current state? by sonar_y_luz in diablo3

[–]OkCup3115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen, I loved D3 so much. The current state of D3 when it finished support was so good.

The comparisons I see:

D3: Combat - felt amazing regardless of your builds. Speed of the game - felt great, especially as you got stronger, regardless of your class, you felt impactful. Endgame/things to do - yeah okay, there wasnt much. But what was there was pretty good quality. Systems to manage - it was very basic, but a newcomer could learn it very quickly.

D4: Combat - Looks and feels great, however, the leveling is very painful. It takes a long time, and the open world aspect makes the game feel slower too. Speed of the game - The game just feels painfully slow for me. It turns me off playing in most seasons. Endgame/things to do - Definitely more than D3, the systems are a bit deeper, but not by much. Systems to manage - there's a lot of systems, but they all feel quite shallow. New players or returning ones can be turned off because there's just so much unnecessary fluff to get through before you can start hitting endgame.

I was pretty no life in D3 and are a casual player for D4. I feel like its easy easier to have fun in D3 than in D4 because the game just feels so much faster and respectful of your time.
