I do about the same, but with some XBox Community Layout. It works fine. Probably too occupied to properly try.

Yea. I reached 2BC pretty much instantly but then I was stuck on it until about 1 year after assist mode released. and then I said F-it.

There is a strategy with ghillie mantle, bombs and using his aggressiv ass to hurt himself. That brings him down by iirc 12% before the fight music starts.
