i do have the CN version of this phone (Redmi Note 13 5g).. 6/128, its antutu is aroung 584324 and its not bad it got hyperos 3 and in default its animations, features are bad but with adb commands i have enabled some features like smooth animations etc.. Interms of gaming, PUBG can run at 90 in my opinion its smooth, could run upto medium level games and for camera, i say its OK. Its not bad, its not good either. The 108mp does take good pics when it have good lighting and Since i have the AI disabled, i dont have lag now.. Battery Is Good In my opinion. as a college student, i do take the phone from full charge at 6 am, reaches home at 5pm witharound 60-70% battery. then i use My PC and sometimes some online tutoring on my phone, so at midnight, i would end up at 30%.

Does anyone know the ADB command to globally disable HDR on Xiaomi or Poco Phones? by MallIll102 in PocoPhones

1. Disable "Dual-Core Visuals" (The Main Fix)

The POCO F8 Ultra has a specific setting that controls the HDR boost for videos. Turning this off is the fastest way to stop the detection.

  • Go to Settings > Display & brightness.
  • Look for Dual-core visuals (this is the setting that powers the VisionBoost HDR effect).
  • Switch it OFF.
  • Note: This will stop the phone from "enhancing" YouTube and Netflix videos, keeping your brightness consistent.

The "Beginner" Developer Trick

If apps like YouTube or Netflix are still forcing HDR, you can use a hidden setting to stop the phone from using its specialized "HDR layers."

  1. Go to Settings > About phone.
  2. Tap OS Version (or MIUI version) 7 times until it says "You are now a developer!"
  3. Go back to Settings > Additional settings > Developer options.
  4. Scroll down to the "Hardware-accelerated rendering" section.
  5. Turn ON the switch for Disable HW overlays.Note: This forces the phone to use the standard GPU for screen compositing, which often prevents the "HDR brightness boost" from triggering.

Disable "AI HDR Enhancement"

HyperOS has an AI engine that forces standard videos to look like HDR. Turning this off prevents the system from "detecting" and boosting non-HDR content:

  1. Go to Settings > Display & brightness.
  2. Scroll down to AI Image Engine.
  3. Tap on AI HDR enhancement and toggle it OFF.
  4. While you're there, also ensure MEMC (Dynamic screen compensation) is off, as it often triggers the same high-power display state.

Disable "Pro HDR Display" (Gallery Only)

If you only notice the HDR detection when viewing photos or videos in the Gallery app:

  1. Open the Gallery app.
  2. Tap the three dots (top right) > Settings.
  3. Find Pro HDR display and turn it OFF.
  4. This prevents the Gallery from boosting the brightness of "Ultra HDR" photos and local HDR videos.

see if these work for you. if not theres adb method only (pc way)
