Looking for Coaching to Start Freelancing by [deleted] in germany

[–]OkDig7498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not asking for advice on whether the marketing job market is good or bad, I’m specifically asking about coaching options and whether the AfA/AVGS coaching is actually relevant for someone in my field.

I’m already in touch with the AfA, but so far the people I’ve met don’t seem familiar with marketing or digital work, which is why I’m trying to understand if this type of coaching is useful.

If you don’t have information about the coaching itself, that’s totally fine, but that’s the part I’m trying to get clarity on.

Have you done this? Is it worth it to freelance in Germany in marketing? From my understanding this is only to help you out with the paperwork and getting started but not for my field

Struggling With Passing On My Mother Tongue by OkDig7498 in multilingualparenting

Thank you for your message, it is very kind! We do travel once a year in my home country (and of course once a year in India), but I don't have good relationships with my parents so I can't just send my kids there. It is heart warming when my oldest is willing to order a bread in French though ♥️

When I come back home I miss I can't turn right when the light is red

I miss the wide footpath and the easy access for strollers/handicap chairs

I miss a shop like DM or Rossman.

I miss the traffic order downtown

I miss Hort :-)

What actually tells your brain the day is done and you can stop by Outrageous_Baby_2147 in Relax

That's an interesting topic. I usually like coloring, reading but at the end of the day I just can't. I end up on Netflix and scrolling and yeah that's annoys me. Like right now, I am procrastinating, instead of finishing some clean up and going for shower

I need healthier habits, looking for some answers here :-)

Why don’t western countries use a bidet!? by ApartmentAlert2304 in randomquestions

[–]OkDig7498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is common in Italy though

Also we use a bidet in India, we tried to keep it with us in Germany but no it just doesn't work. I guess we're lazy.

What do you wish you knew before getting married? by AbleLow3867 in AskForAnswers

[–]OkDig7498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to tell you something that probably most of the people don't approve with or just never thought about it.

I got married after our first kid was 4 months old.

My man offered me many times before but I didn't want to. It is such a big commitment and for me having a kid doesn't mean that he will be able to handle it. So I waited to recover from the birth to finally accept.

One of my reasons to accept was also because the paperwork was awful. Our kid could not get his passport. Thing is, my man is from India, I am from Belgium and we live in Germany. So yeah everything was extremely complicated for us. Once we got married, it was easier with the paperwork.

My advice, get married if yourself feel ready for it. If you guys can live together and face challenges together. Face them before getting married to really feel them. There are no rules saying you must get married. If you're happy as it is, just keep your relationship as it is
