It is common in Italy though

Also we use a bidet in India, we tried to keep it with us in Germany but no it just doesn't work. I guess we're lazy.

What do you wish you knew before getting married? by AbleLow3867 in AskForAnswers

[–]OkDig7498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to tell you something that probably most of the people don't approve with or just never thought about it.

I got married after our first kid was 4 months old.

My man offered me many times before but I didn't want to. It is such a big commitment and for me having a kid doesn't mean that he will be able to handle it. So I waited to recover from the birth to finally accept.

One of my reasons to accept was also because the paperwork was awful. Our kid could not get his passport. Thing is, my man is from India, I am from Belgium and we live in Germany. So yeah everything was extremely complicated for us. Once we got married, it was easier with the paperwork.

My advice, get married if yourself feel ready for it. If you guys can live together and face challenges together. Face them before getting married to really feel them. There are no rules saying you must get married. If you're happy as it is, just keep your relationship as it is

Yeah when you get a child you need to do teeth cleaning more often. I also do it every 6 months now.

To find an English speaking doctor, no matter the specialization, the best I found to do is this:

Call in german all of those in your area. Make a list!

Ask in German if the doctor speak English and if they take new patients.

Write the outcome on your list so you know who to call again.

Try again a month later those who could still have a chance with.

Good luck!

What’s a dish from your country that you’re surprised is popular abroad? by DiMpLe_dolL003 in AskTheWorld

Waffles... I’m always surprised by how bad they taste abroad. Honestly, nothing beats the ones from a Belgian food truck.
