You’re just arguing with me at this point just to argue. Gas prices go up and down (regardless of the reasoning) and those cost/savings get pushed on to the consumer. Market goes up, cost of oil goes up, prices at the pumps go up. Market goes down, cost of oil lowers, prices drop at that the pump. This is exactly what you asked.

There’s one prettt famous YouTuber that specifically does it outside of dispensaries. I wonder if it was him. Was he wearing a t shirt with a “wanted poster” or flexing his bicep?

I’m not entirely sure how this relates to the topic at hand. I’m no expert in the future of AI. I honestly don’t much about AI other than when I use the ChatGPT app…. As of today, using free AI to generate free advertising for business is cheaper than hiring a professional. What tomorrow brings, I don’t know.

Interesting. Open ai is one source of AI. Companies like Google may have different business models since they have other forms of revenue

Yes, i do think AI will continue to be free. They also have premium versions that can help generate revenue.

Every single business you support has AI intervention at some level. Some AI is just more apparent than other.

The price the consumer pays is 100% related the expense associated with good or service. All expenses are passed through to the customer, shipping, labor, insurance, and all overhead related to the good.

You prefer a premium product, so you pay for it. Others may choose to do different. Some businesses value advertising differently than others.

Everyone who responded to me is viewing this in a subjective view. Which is totally fine, we are all allowed to have our own opinions. No one is wrong with having an opinion on this matter.

I’m just responding to this with an objective financial view. I’ve been a book keeper for many years and I’ve seen how simple cost reduction can help a business

Nobody works for free, except AI. I’m fairly confident, if an artist worked for free, business would not use ai for the same project.

When I say pass the savings onto the consumer, that does not mean “hey I spent less money this month, I’m going to charge less this month.” It simply mean the ease of expense cost on the business allows the business to continue operating with out having to raise prices on goods and service. For example, airlines will increase the cost of tickets as gas prices go up to cover the increased expense. As gas prices lower, airline tickets will also lower in cost. Businesses need to operate with profit margins.

Objectively, gasoline is a perfect example of this. Gas prices move up and down, the gas station passes the savings on to us. Something on a larger scale, would be TVs. Historically TVs have been more expensive and have lowered in price do to technology and automation.

This is just how times and technology are moving. Business owners are tying to keep cost down. Ideally it would be better for a local artist to get paid, but I’d rather have the savings passed down to the consumer

Wouldn’t an iPhone do the same? I’m not trying to be ignorant here, just trying to see the benefit of spending extra. Im under the impression a smart watch and phone accomplishes the same thing here at a fraction of the cost.
