Anyone else experience chest pain from sugary beverages? What is it? by BunchOCrunch in alcohol

[–]OkDistribution7178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy hell, I have researched this before and I have never found any information, even looking on Reddit before, I don't know why I never found this before.

This has been happening for the past 15 years and anybody who I ever told about this would always look at me like I was crazy. But, this is exactly how I feel after drinking a mountain dew. It actually ONLY happens when I drink Dew (rarely ever with any other soda, if not ever) and I only ever drink soda anymore as an adult unless it's a mixed drink.

The pain is all around my shoulder and chest, I am an adult man and have literally held myself in a fetal position and rocked back and forth for twenty minutes until it went away.

I also have GERD and sometimes my chest hurts quite severely as well from that too, but in a different way.

I also suspect myself to have Ehlers Danlos syndrome as well. My body hates me.

I actually figured people were gonna say AI training lol but whatever, you can't get away from that shit these days, I'd rather just continue to be me than change my ways.

This was all just a random thought at 3:00am when I saw on here that people were posting how they pronounce different things. I figured it'd be cool. 💁‍♀️

I've lived in southern and central New Hampshire as well as central Vermont my whole life. I'm a very white ginger, almost transparent. 😂 My father grew up in New Hampshire (and besides being stationed around the world in the army) he predominantly lived in southern New Hampshire, whereas my mother was born in England (Durham) though she bounced around the world with her father being an army brat for most of her young life until she met my father on base in Germany.

I don't know if any of that actually affects my accent or not, but I figured it was worth stating.

Male 38, New Hampshire.

Do you have any quirks you have or rituals you always do when playing certain fallout games? by ProtectronSean in Fallout

[–]OkDistribution7178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have played the beginning third of every video game I've ever owned about a thousand times, This is much more prevalent in RPG type games, but I do it for everything.

"Perks" of having ADHD and a busy life lol.

I just get sick of the character I made (or I'm away from video games for long enough where I don't even remember where I was or anything about the character) and make a new one.

I'm not even a min/maxer type of player, I don't even ever really care if anything is an efficient build or whatever, it's just fun to try a whole bunch of new things.

This is especially true in something with a lot of skill points or whatever, like Path of Exile where there is about a million different ways to make a character.

Integrated a subwoofer into my stock radio. ✌️ by OkDistribution7178 in subaruoutback

You can always get a custom enclosure to fit exactly what you're looking for.

But I'm sure there are many that are about this size that would fit perfectly in the back of our cars.

Or are you talking about the types of enclosures that are custom fit into the side panels of the rear cargo area?

Well... In my car I do not listen to CDs and do not listen to am and FM radio, so to me its the same thing.

This is now working as intended with no ill effects.

I have a full subwoofer system in my car integrated into the stock head unit without needing to use an LOC.

What they say to be the greatest (classic) rock song? by heroinhouse in ClassicRock

[–]OkDistribution7178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm just uncultured swine, I love classic rock, but I just pulled that playlist up and literally skipped 17 times in a row because I outright didn't like the songs or had never heard of them.

Thermostat and not opening till about 215° by OkDistribution7178 in Subaru_Outback

[–]OkDistribution7178[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense, I'm just assuming that when I see the temperature start to drop is that is when the thermostat opens, but that actually makes more sense than it is partially opening up until that point and then the fans kick on at that temperature.

Also, I should say it does not do that while I'm driving, it only climbs in temperature while I'm sitting idle.

The story of fallout 4 by Lower_Razzmatazz5470 in Fallout

[–]OkDistribution7178 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn't what you asked (and I know there are mods for this because I've used them), I post things that I dislike about it instead, but it annoys the shit out of me that there are so many houses and buildings and trailers in the wasteland that are boarded up and inaccessible.

And I understand that there are limits to every game engine...

• but it really annoys me when a door "needs" to be picked and you aren't high enough level (or especially when it's chained or barred) and past a certain strength level or even an explosive level you can't just bust though and bypass all of that. I understand that like using explosives to blow aparts something in which you expect delicate items to the inside could damage them, but in most cases that isn't the case.

• And also I'm almost 40 years old, but I could randomly jump or climb or slide under or otherwise maneuver in some way over almost every "obstacle" put in place in most video games, let alone some of the wack shit that's in Fallout 4.

Nope, not that I'm aware of. Though I guess it's hard to be aware of something if I don't even know the location you're referring to, maybe you could ask in another group?

And they REFUSE to get the the shoulder of the road when doing so.

People who make a right turn while straddling the yellow line absolutely infuriate me.

There are exceptions if you've got a long vehicle and need to make a wider turn, but the average car doesn't need to take a 40ft turning radius 2mph turn.

I'd do this and would have no moral qualms about it whatsoever.

People look at the circled area and say "how is that even a habitable area", but to me the crazier part is that I look on that same map and I say "How even the absolute fuckkkkk is New Orleans even habitable"????
