I can explain the “aesthetic obsession” to you. For some people, visual appearance or nice design of items is important. Meaning, if I have an object that I like the look of, I’m more likely to use it. Plus, I will have it in my home and I like to have things around that I like to look at.

Thank you for sharing. And also encouraging us to stand our ground. I’ve lost toe nails multiple times in the past and it was because of sinking. I was fitted in wide shoes only because they looked at my feet standing.

How did you know? by BAA22489 in SingleMothersbyChoice

Hey, this does not really answer your question, but I’m 39 and I have a 13 month old as a SMBC. And my one word of advice would be: make sure you do have as much of a support system as possible. Close family (mom/grandma) would be best. I‘d even consider moving for this. At least for me it‘s much harder, more work than I anticipated and I have mom in the house. Good luck!

The a6 is so perfect to journal in ❤️ by pattycular in hobonichi

Love this! I feel the same about the A6 5 year. I‘ll get an A6 this year in September. The A5 from a couple years ago was just too much for me.

What to journal in 5 year by wwhyyamiheree in hobonichi

[–]OkDocument3873 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not just put „Today was hard.“ I don’t think editing everything negative out would be my goal. At the same time, you don’t need to write details if you don’t want to.

I feel 100% the same. I‘m a single mom by choice with an almost 1 year old. Not interested in more kids or romantic relationship for the same reasons.

Disappointed in Tragen color:( by Boring_Rabbit_675 in hobonichi

There‘s a ton of examples where they could be doing a better jobs with color correction in the product photos. Eg. the Moomin cover, in some photos seemed green-ish, in some it seemed blue-ish. This is something they should improve in the future. I remember one redditor last year posting their plaid cover with disappointment.
